His mind would go totally blank as that one sentence echoed through it.

He'd finally say with a shaky voice as his eyes softened. He was beyond happy that you told him, so he could finally say it too. From then on, he wouldn't waste any chance to tell you he loved you.

"I think I'm in love with you." You had blurted out one day as you watched him cook like usual.
He'd flinch and almost cut his own hand. He'd look up at you with his mouth wide open, dropping his usually collected demeanor.
"Seriously?" He'd ask, raising his voice. When he saw you nodding slightly and avoiding his eyes, he'd grin widely and rush around the kitchen isle to hug you.
