Special Chapter I

Before I Doze Off

"Aiah, wake up.. Aiah."

"Hmmmm.. Ang ingay mo naman e!"

This is totally fucked up. She's totally wasted. This won't work. Di kami makakapasok sa unit nila. Hindi ko nga makausap ng matino. "Your passcode? What's your passcode?" I tried to ask her again. Hoping to get some answer.

She mumbled something.

I sighed. I think I don't have a choice. I'll just bring her with me in my condo then. We took a taxi going to my condo. I left my motorbike in the bar. Nang dumating na kami sa condo ay marahan ko siyang kinarga. Buti na lang at hindi naglililikot ang isang 'to.

"Good Morning Sir Uno." Kevin, the security guard greeted. I nodded in response. "Tulungan ko na po kayo." sabi niya habang karga karga ko si Aiah. "Okay lang Kevin, pwede pakitabi muna nitong saklay."

"Okay po sir."

"Thanks."

Nang makarating na kami sa aking unit ay agad kong dinala si Aiah sa guest room at
inihiga siya sa kama. Nang bigla siyang magsalita. "Tubig--"

I directly went to the kitchen to get her some water. When I get back from the kitchen, she's no longer in the bed.

Baka nag-cr lang. "Aiah?" tawag ko sa kanya. Ngunit hindi ko siya nakita dun.

Where the hell is she now?

Lumabas ako ng kwarto at hinanap siya sa buong unit. "Aiah? Nasan ka?" Asan na naman nagsususuot ang babaeng 'yun? Hindi naman 'yun makakaalis ng ganun ang paa nun. Hinanap ko na siya sa isa pang kwarto ngunit wala siya dun.

Hindi naman siguro siya pumunta sa kwarto ko? Mabilis akong naglakad papunta sa aking kwarto.

"What the hell are you doing?!" I yelled. She's sitting on my bed, half naked. And she was about to take off the last piece of cloth she has, her panty. I immediately run towards him and took a grip on her hand. Stopping her from what she's about to do.

"Ano ba?! Ang init init e.."

"Gagawan natin 'yan ng paraan, okay? Lalakasan natin ang aircon." sabi ko. Tumango naman ito. "Okay.."

Huminga ako ng malalim. "Let's get you dress." I said and wrap her around with the comforter.

"Ayoko n'yang damit na 'yan. Mainit!" reklamo niya at tinuro ang damit niyang nasa sahig. "Okay, Okay.. I'll get you another one. Just please, utang na loob Aiah. Suotin mo na ulit ang underwear mo."

Tumango naman siya agad at pinulot ko ang bra at binigay sa kanya. Tumayo ako at nilakasan ang aircon. Agad akong pumunta sa aking dresser at kumuha ng long sleeve polo. Pinagpawisan ako dun ah. I've seen enough, this day. Ibang klase talaga ang babaeng 'to. Kaya ba hindi siya pwedeng malasing? Pano na lang kung mag-isa siyang nag-inom dun? Tapos ganito pala ang gawain niya.

Marahan ko siyang tinignan kung tapos na ba siyang magbihis. Nang makita kong naka-underwear na siya ay lumapit na ako sa kanya. I lend her the polo. "Here.." sabi ko ngunit diretso lang siyang nakatingin sa 'kin.

Napabuntong hininga ako sa ginawa niya. "You're really making this hard for me. You know that?" I said and started to dress her the polo. "Akin na 'yang kamay mo.."

Buti na lang hindi siya nagmatigas at sumunod siya sa mga inuutos ko. "Done. You want some water?" she nodded.

I gave her the glass of water and she gulped it. "You should take off your lens." she nodded in response and took off her contact lens and drop it inside the glass. This girl is so fucking wasted.

She handed me the glass. I put the glass on the night table and help her lie to bed. I pulled the comforter and covered her body with it.

I sat down beside her and scanned her face while she's sleeping soundly. I softly chuckled.

She really don't have any idea how beautiful she is. Those freckles behind the concealer. Those insanely pretty emerald eyes that pierce through me, that time in the Aquatic. The first time I saw her eyes, it made my world stop, just like that time. Ba't ba siya nagcocontact lens? Di ba niya alam kung gaano kaganda ang mga mata niya? Muntik ko na ngang nakalimutan na kailangan na naming umahon. It just made me froze when I saw her eyes. I wanted to stare at it a little longer.

I run my fingers through her hair when I noticed the color of her hair roots. It's kinda red, ginger red. Her hair is ginger red?! What the fuck! Ano pa bang tinatago niya? She is really something. Pero hindi naman siguro siya 'yun? I doubt it. Enough with the nonsense Gin, she's not her. Maraming babae ang may freckles sa mukha, red ang buhok at g-green ang mata. Hindi siya 'yun.

I was about to leave when she suddenly pulled me, near her.

"G-Gin--" she softly uttered. "May pa Gin at Uno ka pang nalalaman ha. E-Edmundo pala ang pangalan mo." pagpatuloy niyang sabi habang nakapikit. She's really drunk.

"Aiah--" I was about to say something when she placed her arms around my neck. Then she suddenly opened her eyes. "Shh.. 'Wag kang magulo. Moment ko 'to. Ikaw ha, pati ba naman sa panaginip ko naroon ka.."

She thinks she's dreaming. "Baka mamaya n'yan isipin ko may gusto ka sa 'kin." sabi niya't ngumisi na naman. "Alam ko, biro lang 'yun. Imposible namang magkagusto ka sa 'kin. Hindi ako makinis at maganda gaya ng Megan mo. At isa pa hindi ako sexy. 'Yun naman ang mga tipo mo diba? Mga makikinis at sexy.."

"Pero alam mo." she started crying. "Salamat at lagi kang dumadating sa tuwing kailangan ko ng tulong. 'Wag kang umalis ha.. Dito ka lang lagi sa tabi ko." she said sincerely then she hit me with her hand.

"Ahh--"

"Pero di ibig sabihin nun na okay lang na kunin mo sa 'kin ang first kiss ko noh! Ang daya mo! Kahit hindi ako maganda, importante pa din sa 'kin yun! Hindi mo man lang ginawa ng maayos. Hindi man lang naging sweet 'yung moment. Kahit pailaw man lang, wala." sabi niya't natawa na ako. "Buong araw, sumakit ang ulo ko sa kakaisip ng halik na 'yun. So, tama lang na gumanti ako sa'yo."

I wasn't able to say something because she already pressed her lips against mine as she closed her eyes. I can feel her sweet but yet dry lips crashed on mine. I smiled between our kiss. As she slowly pulled away. She stared at me and gave me the sweetest smile I've ever saw in my life.

"'Yan. We're fair now. Balik ka ulit sa panaginip ko ha. Night Gin." sabi niya't pumikit nang muli.

"Goodnight Ai." I said and smiled.
