Even though the cafeteria was full of people, Felix felt so alone.

Even though he just ate half of his lunch, Felix felt so empty.

Even though he encountered many friendly faces, Felix felt out of place.

Changbin isn't here.

His friends aren't with him — who knows what his gay friends are doing right now. Changbin said he would accompany Felix during his lunch time, but over ten minutes has passed since the time Changbin was supposed to come. Felix began to panic. Still not over his past, it's very difficult for him to be in public alone. He sunk lower into his seat and held onto the hem of his shirt, hoping Changbin would show up soon.

What if he forgot?

Suddenly, a hand patted his shoulder. Felix's eyes widened and instinctively held his hands up as he turned around and came to face with —

— an out-of-breath Changbin.

Changbin held up drinks. "Sorry... I went to buy some boba tea since you texted the group chat that you were having a boba crave earlier. Jeongin even let me get them for free." Changbin managed to say in between heavy breathing. "I'm really sorry for being late Felix, are you okay?"

Felix let out a relieved sigh and wrapped his arms around Changbin. "I missed you."

Changbin laughed and set down the two bobas before returning the hug. "Felix, we saw each other this morning."

Felix chuckled and nuzzled into Changbin's neck. He forgot about his past, his fears, his stress, and every thing else life was throwing at him at the moment. What was there to worry about? He has Changbin.

"I assume you're not mad at me for being late?" Changbin asked, pulling away from the hug.

Felix shook his head and smiled brightly at him.

A small "heh" escaped from Changbin's lips as they both sat down. "I don't get it. You actually never get mad at me. How?"
