Chapter 14: Plan in Action I

The plan was in action. Keith Kogane would be killed today. Or so they thought.

Shiro was going to take Lance, Matt, and Hunk to go on a mission. They were going to take a look at the city and see where most zombies are so that they can avoid them when going out. Allura and Pidge would get Keith and bring him outside and Coran would shoot. It was all for the best. When Lance and the group come back, they would say that Keith had gone outside by himself and was lost. Yeah, it would give Lance a sense of false hope but at least they all would be out of danger.

--third person/Pidge-

Pidge was feeling doubtful about the plan. It might not seem like it but she and Keith had their moments and Pidge was probably the only person besides Shiro who knew Keith on a personal level. She was confused as all this was mostly planned by Allura and Shiro. Shiro was like Keith's older brother while Shiro was like a dad to everyone else. Shiro had also been acting weirdly lately, ever since the zombie apocalypse started. It was like he knew this would happen. That was it. Pidge was going to confront Shiro later. For now, she was going to hang out with Lance and Keith.

As she approached their bed room she was hearing some...strange sounds.

They were a bit muffled but she could make out some sounds. She pressed her head to the door and listen. They're was a loud whacking sound followed by laughter. Then some shuffling sounds and a few screams and groans. The short girl smirked to her self. She didn't want to interrupt what ever was happening there but her inner fangirl was getting to her and cracked open the door just a little bit. She took a peek and sighed in disappointed.

They were having a pillow fight.

Lance was shrieking as Keith came in and hit him in the face with a pillow. The whole room was messier than my life. That was shocking. Blankets everywhere and two blanket forts. At least 20 fluffy pillows littering the ground and around the forts. It looks like a few pillows broke cause there were a bunch of feathers in the air and on the floor.

The brown haired girl cleared her throat loudly and knocked on the now fully opened door. Lance looked up and said, "hey, wanna join-" he was cut off by Keith who threw a pillow at him. Pidge grinned and grabbed the nearest pillow. Keith and Pidge started hitting Lance who was now laying on the floor. "Hey! No fair, you guys can't team up on me-" his words were muffled due to Pidge covering his face with a pillow in attempt of suffocation.

-Time skip-

They all laid on the floor panting. Everyone was sweating and it was really gross. Pidge had lost her glasses and they were probably broken.
Keith was curled up next to Lance despite how hot it was in the room. Pidge snickered when Lance's face flushed and he stiffened. Lance glared at her but she just giggled more.

"I would so take a photo right now but I'm too tired."

In response, Keith just snuggled into Lance more and draped an arm over his torso. Keith was gonna be the death of Lance.

Keith's POV/in his mind

I was literally dying on the inside. Why was I hugging Lance? The pillow fight had been fun and Pidge joined in but now it's just awkward. Pidge was fangirling like crazy over there and I had absolutely no words. Mostly since I can't talk anyway.

I snuggle into Lance even more, there was no space between us anymore, I was literally as close as I can get to him without going on top of him. Lance's face was getting more flustered by the second. I can't blame him though.

Lance had to go on some mission with the others. I'm here alone with Allura, Coran, and Pidge. They keep whispering and eyeing me. I have a bad feeling about this. Pidge keeps looking like she'll burst into tears. Lance was hesitant at first about leaving me but he got dragged away with the others and now I'm here.

Allura tells me to go outside in 5 minutes. She said that Coran had something for me..? After she left Pidge ran up to me, tears streaming down her cheeks. I want to ask her what's wrong but I can't. She hugs me and tells me to not go. After a few minutes I go outside to see Coran holding a pistol... aiming at me.

Well, Shit.
