"The girl. The one Micheal bought. She's done.....cleaning up and wants to walk her....legs?" he told me, sounding unsure.

"Why are you hesitating?" I demanded.

"Uh, I wanted to get her exact words." he explained, looking down. "But I can't figure out what she means. Is it something kind of code?

I sighed. Father needs to get better help.

"It doesn't matter. Bring her to garden, thank you." I told him.

He bowed and left my presence.

I can't imagine why Father would hire such creatures.

I took in a deep breath to compose my self.

I needed to remain calm around Lyla no matter what.

I changed into a white tee and washed my face with cold water.

I ran my wet hands through my hair and left my office.

As I walked down the endless hallways of this unnecessary mansion, I found my self getting a bit anxious.

I've never been this affected by anything or anyone before.

The feeling was foreign to me and I didn't like it.

I could hear my inner demon laughing.

"Well, look at you getting vulnerable."

I grunted in annoyance. I wasn't vulnerable.

My demon took any chance it gets to verbally frustrate me. He gets his kicks from seeing me react to his words.

At this point, I've learned to ignore him. But this was not the time to act like an asshole.

He enjoyed teasing me. Taunting me with every mistake, every tragedy. This is what he was been made to do.

This is his main purpose.

Suddenly, I found my self in the garden.

It was a huge plot of land filled with only flowers.

Each section had different types of roses. It was very colourful. But the one that stood out the most was the white roses which bordered the red ones.

Then I spotted her.

She was in a flowing white gown that hugged her every dip and curve.

Her reddish brown hair flew behind her in the wind, making a trail behind her.

Her back was turned to me. She was looking at the rows of roses which stretched on.

I slowly walked towards her, not making the slightest of sounds.

Soon I was behind her.

She was tiny compared to me. Her head had barely reached my chest.

If I didn't know her age for a fact, I would think she was 16.

I took a whiff of her scent. The smell hit hit me like a ton if bricks. It was so sudden.

She smelt like.......roses.

Before I could stop my self, I slip my hands her perfectly thin waist and pulled to me.

She gasped and jumped.

I felt the sparks.

It was as if electricity was coursing through my viens. It was an exhilarating feeling.

She was scared. I could hear her heart beat racing a mile a minute. But she didn't push me off. She didn't move.

Instead, she placed her hands on mine and looked up at

My heart stopped.

"What are you doing here, Azrael?" she asked softly. She looked back at the roses.

I was at a lost for words. Her voice was heavenly.

It made me tingled when she called my name.

What was happening?

She was so convinced I was the bad guy a few minutes ago.

What had changed?

"Nothing. She's still scared."

I knew that.

But why is she trying to play it off?

I looked down at her, "Looking for  you." I told her simply.

I could feel her shifting her feet. "Oh. Did you think I would try to escape?"

"No."

She nodded.

What was all of this?

I was so confused.

I slowly let go of her, slightly missing the sparks.

I went to the rows of white roses and picked a few.

I entwined them together to make a flower crown. She would look so angelic in this.

"Lyla." I called her.

She hummed a response and turn to me.

My breath hitched as I looked at her.

"Oh."

I was starstruck.

She was so naturally breathtaking.

I placed the crown on her curls and stepped back.

"So fucking beautiful." I whispered, to my self.

Her head snapped up to me as her eyes widen. She looked away.

She heard it.

Suddenly, she rolled up the end of her dress and sat down on the lawn over looking the garden.

She stared out at the garden for a long time. I stared at her.

Suddenly she looked at me and gestured for me to sit too.

I quickly sat next to her before she changed her mind.

She continued looking at the garden.

"You are such a weird idiot, Azrael."

I shook my head to get his voice out. I didn't need this right now.

"Azrael."

My eyes darted to her. She was still looking at the roses. "Yes."

"I'm scared." She whispered.

I could see she was gripping her dress so hard.

I sighed. "I know. And I'm so sorry for that. This wasn't supposed to happen."

She moved a hit closer to me, our hands brushing together for a quick second.

She looked down on her hand that had touched mine.

She felt the sparks. I knew it.

This just confirm my suspicions.

"Something is wrong. This....is too good for us."

I will not let you ruin this for me, demon.

I looked back her. She was looking at me too.

"Lyla, I won't hurt you." I told her sincerely.

She nodded and looked back the roses.

I wanted to tell her everything. I need to tell her.

But she looked so peaceful like this. I didn't want to ruin it for her........and me.

It can wait. I'll tell her tomorrow.

I wanted this moment to last forever.

I had finally found the one.
