VIXEN POV
I woke up and brushed my teeth and washed my face. I walked downstairs.
"Goodmorning mom" i said smiling.
"Goodmorning honey" she said.
"So hows your day going" she said.
"Seriously mom. I just woke up" i said sarcastically.
"You know I haven't been with anyone since the day your father left right?" .She said out no where.
"Why are you bringing this up?" I said angry.
Well yes my dad left us. When i was 10. I wish he did when i was like 1 so I couldn't remember. But i fucking do. Every thing. Their fights. Him cheating. But i loved him. He didn't harm me. He loved me. Tucked me in. Kissed me on my forehead and hugged me. So I couldn't be afraid. Even mom cheated on him. With his bestfriend. But its been 9 years since. This was already coming.
"I met someone" she said smiling weakly.
"Really? Who!" I asked sad
"Hes name is Luke, he's super sweet! I met him in the club! He has his own clothing company." She said excited
"Why are you telling me this" i asked
"Because i want you to meet him" she said
"No" i said
"Yes. Today. Dinner . 8:30 . Look nice" she said smiling.
"NO! Do you want to get hurt all over again?" I hissed
"Vixen White Jacobs go to your room NOW" She shouted
"Whatever" i rolled my eyes.
Why does she keep on doing this. Why. I mean she deserves to be happy but not by meeting a guy in the CLUB. God why do i have to be so selfish! Shes my mother shes the one who cares about me the most! Gosh ugh. I have to apologize.
"Mom...." i said smiling
"Yes honey" she said sad
"I am so so so so sorry I didn't realize how selfish i was." I said
" i really hope you do what makes you happy" i said
"Aw its okay honey thank you so much" she said smiling.
" well im going to get coffee want me to get you something?" I said smiling
" no honey thank you but be sure to be here around 6 pm so you could help me set things up" she said
"Sure mom" i said smiling

"Miss veronica?" A lady shouted
"Its vixen" i said rolling my eyes.
"Heres your coffee have a nice day" she said handing me out my coffee and fake smiling
