it was 2pm
i stared at the door waiting for him to walk in
"ding"
the door opened and the same pink haired boy that came everyday at this time was here yet again
i watched as he went to the refrigerator and took out a bottle of strawberry milk
i always wondered why he always bought strawberry milk
why not chocolate milk? vanilla milk? milk milk??? or just any other drink besides strawberry milk
as i was thinking, i heard a loud sound and a gasp coming from the boy
i walked over to him and saw that he had dropped the bottle of strawberry milk and spilled all over the floor
"oh my god oh my god im so sorry, i-i'll clean it up right away and pay back for it, im so sorry"
i let out a soft chuckle, "its fine, i will clean it up and you dont have to pay back for it"
"no no im really sorry, i insist, i'll pay you back right now"
the boy dug through his wallet and found had exactly $2.30, the price of a bottle of strawberry milk.
he held the $2.30 in front of me, i smiled,
"you don't need to pay for it now, if you really insist on paying me back, you can do it tomorrow, if not you won't have enough to buy a bottle of strawberry milk today :)"
"b-but-"
"just buy your strawberry milk :)"
"okay, thanks :)"
