Nina sprung out of bed a second before her alarm clock started to buzz. She turned it off with a swift tap and skidded out of her bedroom on her fluffy socks. She had to stick her arms out to prevent her face from meeting the wall after she crashed into it. The kitchen was a mess from yesterday's dinner, but she'd sort that out later. Preparing lunch for her kids was more important than cleanliness. Some kimchi for Seokjin, a peanut butter jelly sandwich for Yoongi, a jam sandwich for Hoseok. Namjoon was ill, so he wasn't going to school that day, she'd make him something special at home. Jimin would want noodles, Taehyung and Jungkook would want some kimchi.

A smile unconsciously spread across her lips as she drew little doodles on the lunch bags. There was a little cluster of flowers on Jin's, a little kunamon face on Yoongi's and a ballerina on Hoseok's. There were hearts on Jimin's and a little alien on Taehyung's, resembling his random self.

Nina was in the middle of drawing a little seagull on Jungkook's lunch bag when she heard little slaps coming down the hallway. Her head turned to the kitchen entrance and she grinned. Hoseok was standing in the doorway with the triplets, rubbing his eyes tiredly. She approached them and kneeled down,
"Good morning Hobi." She greeted, then set her grey crayon down and scooped Hoseok up into a big bear hug. Hoseok giggled cutely and seemed to be awake soon after, kissing Nina's face many times. This enabled Nina to set him down and send him off to watch some TV before they had to get changed. She turned to the triplets and kneeled in front of them. "Good morning, Jiminie, my baby. How did you sleep Taehyungie? How about you, Jungkookie?" Nina asked in a quiet voice, the triplets were still a bit sleepy. "I sleeped good Ninny! Yoongi tooked my pillow when I was sleeping though!" Taehyung spoke up loudly, scaring poor Jimin. Their mother only chuckled at Taehyung's grammar errors and sat down in front of them. The way she sat made the triplets stand taller than her head. "Well, you should have taken it back!", she told Taehyung, poking him in his little belly. The five-year-old was about to speak, but Jungkook did first, "He would have hitted him eomma! I don't want him to hitted Taehyungie!" Jungkook grabbed at his older brother in fear and Taehyung hugged him back. Nina only scowled in the direction of the hyungs room and looked back to the toddlers. She'd raised Yoongi to be tough, not to be a bully. Instead of getting mad, however, Nina spoke, "When someone hits you, you tell eomma Nina. Eomma Nina will sort them out for you." she cooed in a silly voice and pulled Taehyung into her lap, "But what if, what if eomma Ninny isn't there?!" The persistent Taehyung yelled back, causing Nina to chuckle. "You hit them back and tell them that Ninny let you." Nina responded, making her hand into a fist and 'hitting', Taehyungie with it. The three toddlers giggled and snuggled into their mother before they scurried away, to change into their clothes for the day.

Hobi and the triplets always woke the earliest, waking usually half an hour after Nina did. She found this nice because she didn't often have time to spend time with each of her sons. So having about an hour to chat and snuggle with her triplets and Hobi was a great time to catch up with them. Hobi often told her what he was doing at school, and he'd show her what new dance he's teaching to his friends. The triplets would just babble on about how they love to play with certain toys. They would more often than not just end up sitting on Nina's lap and bickering with each other. Nina stood up and let out a satisfied sigh, the house was now loud with children's voices and she loved that. She couldn't take silence. She walked back to the counter and finished off Jungkook's seagull. She made sure it looked pretty, shading the grey outline with a white crayon. After the seagull was finished, she went ahead and started making breakfast. Seokjin would be waking up in about ten minutes, and if he didn't get his breakfast on time he'd get a bit cranky. Bacon and eggs it was that morning, a pretty western breakfast that she loved to eat; it made her feel at home with her American heritage. As the butter on the pan started to sizzle, Nina cracked two eggs at once and they plopped onto the pan. She then did so with about seven other eggs. Seokjin was a big eater so he'd probably have most of the food, but there still needed to be enough for the other children. At the end of the day, she'd always make way too much food, but what was the harm in that? She would eat it after all. Yoongi was, VERY, picky. Nina usually made him his favourite cereal, because he wouldn't touch anything else. The only reason why Yoongi would eat the cereal in the first place was that it was Kunamon themed. Hobi wouldn't eat his eggs without toast, because he said they tasted better that way. So Nina had to keep track of toast, eggs and the triplets messing around, which was more than difficult. Namjoon liked his eggs to have tomato in them so she chopped up tomatoes and mixed them into the eggs on his plate. She quickly ran back and scolded Taehyung for trying to cut Jungkook's hair. Just as she finished filling the seventh tall glass with apple juice, the toaster let out a high pitched ding. Nina caught the toast between her fingers and set one on Hobi's plate and one on Jungkook's. Jungkook would want to eat anything that Hobi had, so she needed to also give him toast so he wouldn't whine that 'Hobi had better food'. Just as she was about to bite into her own toast, Seokjin walked into the kitchen, "Anyeo eomma Ninny." He sang, skipping over to Nina and giving her a kiss on the cheek, "How did you sleep?" The eight-year-old asked, making Nina smile. "I slept great, thanks for asking Jin." She replied while tousling his soft black locks, making him laugh. Nina turned back to the eggs on the stove just in time to prevent them from burning. She then asked Jin in a laid-back tone, "Hobi is in the living room with the triplets. Call them to breakfast, would ya, Jin?" Jin nodded and ran off, an audible, "BREAKFAST IS FINISHED!", escaping his mouth as he ran into the living room. A smile spread across Nina's face as she watched her five children skip into the kitchen. They were always so excited in the mornings, especially for breakfast. They absolutely LOVED, Nina's cooking.
