23 years old Ashley Richardson, a young brilliant woman who love to study about forensic suddenly thrown into 19th century London after her friend gone and she encountered dangerous creatures along with a dead body.
Meeting with one notorious Horac...
Hey dude, gals. First of all let me talk with slang words here before I continue to bury myself in the world of proper people using too stiff language in 19th century!
It's not my first attempt to write historical fiction as best as I could (especially with the grammar) but it's better because I tried right?
Some of the place I mentioned is true, existed in the real life but some of them are not. My fiction is based on reality mixed with imagination, so bare with me.
When I said it wasn't my first attempt to write historical fiction genre, no it is not. But, if I said it was my first attempt to write about time travel, yes it is.
A difference of how people thinking back in the old days in modern people perspective always intrigued me. How cleanliness, social life and way of proper people talk is on different level for both sides.
I hated to admit it because I was an adult but my biggest dream in my life is become a time traveller.
Don't laugh.
But, I do think it was ridiculous since our knowledge about quantum physics is not as advance as the Aliens.
I love Sci-fi and Historical Fiction. The first reason I love historical fiction once because I never thought before how they could live without any phone or internet connection. Travelling by carriage not a car (minus the riage) although I prefer motorcycle and when fashion is a burden because women must used a corset and makeup is only for prostitute (it's true) and when social status is everything. I might turned crazy if I stranded in 19th century when people still using a chamber pot to poop.
Bring me back those modern toilet pleaseee!!
But I love the debutante ball, the season; when parents decided to marry off their daughter with rich and eligible gentlemen they've met at the ball and also the charade. But I hates about the arranged marriage.
People only courting to the woman or man they like for about two or three weeks before they decided to marry each other. I mean, C'mon...... Did they even know they truly love each other without even engaged first or courting (the slang is dating in modern world) for more than a year without marry first?
There is too much regency couple who hopelessly falling in love with each other but hesitated to express their feeling for a long freaking time!
Just look at Pride and Prejudice or North and South and oh, Belle too (I think).
I desperately screaming to myself whenever I re-watch those movie or series.
I need a break for such a nonsense first, I need a fiery, heroic woman who doesn't know how to behave in 19th century and tadaaa....
The Night Crawler is Born
This story is born because I love Sherlock Holmes (wait, what is the connection between Sherlock Holmes and this story?).
First of all, I love mystery. But this mystery is gonna be different because I love monster too. That means I love a lot of things to get stranger and stranger in this story.
Do you watch The Strain or maybe movie Blade I, II and III? Ah I might add Penny Dreadful and Helix as well?
I am the girl who watch that kind of story 😂 not Gossip Girl or Vampire Diaries.
If somehow you know Historical drama, series or even movie let me know. I love to explore more about it.
If someone plagiarize this story please report it and let me know.
I mean who want to copy this freakin' story? I bet everyone who do it deliberately have no shame to themselves. Just open your laptop and write something!
There will be a lot of grammar mistakes but I've tried my best.
Everybody is learning, even New York Times bestseller author. But I welcoming you all, The Grammar Nazi 😂
Do not post this story to another website because it was illegal and I will freaking angry if someone using another person's story to earn money!
This is happened A LOT lately with my favorite Author on Wattpad and I feel really sorry for them. They must unpublished their story before re-publish it for more than once.
Last but not least, maybe for a reader a comment or vote is not a really important thing. But, for me it's the thing which always makes me wanted to continue the story (beside promoting it) because I am basically putting my best effort in this story. Even, more than two others of my stories.
I could say I have never been this serious in creating one book. I tried my best to mesmerize you (with my lack sensibility in grammar). So, people.....please if you like this story just click that star button on the left side of the page, it's not that hard and only took one second from 31,536,000 seconds in one year of your life.
Okay
That's all what I have to say. Just enjoy the rest of the book.
P.S. I am still updating my other two books but I am busy. Soon, I will be back.
