Kidnapped-Chapter 10

Hey guys, sorry it's taken me forever and a day to upload! Almost 2 months! golly, I'm such a slacker! I would've uploaded A LOT earlier, but very soon after I uploaded last, my life got quite busy! Those next 2 weeks, I forgot about uploading and I had to clean house. Then the last week, I had a G.A. camp. Then of course, that next week was July 4th, and it was pretty crazy that week(btw, I had the best 4th of July ever;)). I then had another camp, and week after that, which was last week, I had 4 teeth pulled Tuesday and braces on Thursday. Now, here's this week! Thank goodness, right?! Well, it's not too long, but hope y'all enjoy!

"There,"grinned Jack,putting the final touches on what he was working on. Tate sat on the edge of his knee, eager to stand.

"Can I stand now?"she asked quietly. This was SOOO awkward.

"Sure, babe,"he laughed, then smirked.

"Ooooookay,"she said unsurly before shooting up like a bat out of Hades. Jack stayed sitting in his plush chair, starring intently at her. She shifted uncomfortably.

"What?"she asked hesitantly.

He shook his head and said,"Nothing, hon. Nothing for me to be worried about anyways..." He grinned wickedly.

"What's that supposed to mean?" He shrugged. "Jack, quit acting stupid and immature. What is it?" she demanded. He simply grinned in reply. She glared in return.

"You'll see, little one. You'll see....." he said, standing, leaving a mysterious edge. "Let's go see how those friends of yours' are coming along, shall we?" He offered her his arm. She grunted and walked out the aged door. Jack followed.

"Laundry room first," he said, quite bored. Bipolar much...

As they walked through, Tate frowned at the saddening sight. Ainsley was quietly TRYING to iron a wrinkly shirt whilst Lacey was separating ransid laundry.

"Hello, ladies,"he grinned fown at the two small girls. They jumped in suprise and fear of the familiar voice.

"Hello, Jack,"Lacey spoke quietly.

"Hello, Jack,"Ainsley copied. Jack smiled in pleasure. He gets a sick ping of happiness of their fear.

When Tate had stepped from behind Jack, both girls smiled largely at the visitor.

"Tate!"exclaimed Lacey, calming herself from hugging her friend. Ainsley waved excitedly.

As Tate was about ot head to the girls, Jack harshly grabbed her arm.

"Come on,"he grumbled, upset their fear had not stayed as long as wanted. He slid his phone into his back pocket.

"I'll be there in a minute," she muttered and once again tried to walk away, but was once more repressed by Jack's stength. She flew around to be face to face with him, but was instead greeted with his palm slamming against the side of her already pained face. She hissed in pain.

"Now,"he whispered coldly. She pushed back her tears, like an actress during a performance. Jack yanked her along without another word. She trudged along behind him drearily.

"Let's go check out the cleaning crew,"Jack declared. Tate frowned and kept on keeping on. They finally came to a hall with numerous doors left and right. Jack chose the second to the left.

When he opened the door, Tate saw her three other friends, Kylie, Addrienne, and Shaina. Kylie was carefully vacuming the cream colored carpet while Addrienne and Shaina were starting to make the ginormous bed in the center of the room.

"Hurry up!"Jack hollered. All three girl jumped where they were standing and Shaina even let out a high pitched squeal. Jack chuckled darkly.

"Jack, stop,"she said nudging his side. He sighed and faced her.

"I do what I want. That includes tellin' y'all what do to. Example,"he said cockily as he turned around and pointed at Addrienne,"You, come here." She catiously made her way towards him.

"Y-y-yes?"she stammered. He gripped her arms randomly and rough and picked her up in the air.

"That's 'Yes Sir'!"he blew up, shaking her in the air. She tried to crouch in the air and shrieked. Jack dropped her and she fell harshly on her back. She gasped as the air was knocked from her lungs.

"JACK!"screeched Tate as she flew down to be beside her aching friend.

"Stay,"he growled as Kylie and Shaina made a move to get closer. The both of them glared at the man infront of them. Jack was not paying attention to the two as he turned and jerked Tate up by her shoulder and pushed her against the wall.

"Did I give you permission to leave my side?"he growled angrily. Their faces were inches apart.

"No and doees it look like I care?"she shot back just as steamed. He growled loudly.

"You're gonna regret this later,"he whispered, their faces now deadly close. She had to back her head up so their lips didn't meet.

"Oh, will I?"she dared. Shaina silently helped Addrienne up while Kyie had made her way behind Jack. He had no idea. He was only intent on what was infront of him.

"Ye-"he began, but that was until Kylie used a trick she knew to black him out for a few minutes. How they knew that, it had been tested many times...

"Thank you,"Tate said,"Now, let's bounce." The four of them raced through the halls, intent on finding their way to their goal, which was the kitchen that had a door leading to freedom.

Finally, after their rompin' and stompin' through the house, they found the kitchen. They each sprinted outside, but as they reached the bottom of the steps, Tate skidded to a stop.

"Tate, come on, you can't stop now! He should be waking up any minute!"Kylie demanded gripping her hand and trying to yank her along.

"I have to get Lacey and Ainsley,"she said yanking her hand back from Kylie's killer grip.

"Okay, but hurry,"she frowned.Tate nodded and ran back inside. Kylie told Shaina and Addrienne and they ran off. She knew exactly where to find them and wasted no time headed that way.

"You lookin' for somethin'?" She gasped and stopped dead in her tracks. "Or should I say, two somethin's?"
