Tate gasped when she heard the voice. She sat in between Japser and Levi, and across from her was Jason. They all heard her very well.

"Hey, you okay?" asked Levi. Tate looked at Levi, on the verge of tears, and simply said,"Jack."

"Huh?" questioned Jasper.

"Jack's back," said Tate as a tear fell from her eyes.

"Let's get one of the girls to explain," guessed Jason. He reached over, and tapped Kylie on the shoulder.

"What?" she asked spinning, so she could face him.

"Something's wrong with Tate. She's just saying 'Jack', or 'Jacks back'. What does that supposed to mean?" questioned Jason. Kylie knew exactly what was going on. It was Jack. She knew that voice sounded familar! She looked at Tate, who was shaking slightly, trying to be comforted by her neighbors. When Kylie turned to warn the others, BAM!!! Jack came in with 3 other boys. Tate's eyes widened at the sight of him. She never thought she would see him, after that nigth, ever again. Jack spotted her, and slowly made his way to her. He bent down to her height.

"Well, at least I get to see one familiar face," smirked Jack, slighty patting her face. His hands were so hard from work, it sort of hurt.

"Sure wish I could't say the same," snapped Tate.

"That sure wasn't a very nice welcoming," said Jack, standing back up.

"Wasn't supposed to be," retorted Tate, looking straight into his dark brown eyes

"Hm. I sure wish I didn't have to do this," said Jack before grabbing Tate and pushing her straight into the wall.

"UGH!," grunted Tate. She looked back at him with pure hatred in her eyes, and that's when she noticed the other men.

"Who on Earth are they?," said Tate, breaking one arm free, and checking to make sure she wasn't bleeding.

"Tate, meet my brothers. This is Carter, Ty, and Gordon, over there," said Jack showing her Mrs. Wren at the mercy of Gordon, with a pistol at her head. There was fear written across Mrs. Wren's face.

"Let her go!," yelled Tate, squirming.

"Only with a deal," said Jack getting control over Tate.

"Let's hear it," asked Tate, relunctantly.

"Come with us, and she is free," smiled Jack. Tate was speechless. Could he be serious?

"Did I hear you right? I go with you? And your brothers?" asked Tate praying that it wasn't true.

"Yep. Just go get in the truck, and she won't be harmed," said Jack. Tate looked at him with disbeleif. She sat there thinking, and thinking for about 2 minutes.

"Fine. I'll go," reluncantly said Tate. She couldn't let someone else get hurt, when it was her own fault. The class gasped at the answer. She heard a gasp from a few of the poeple behind her.

"Good choice. Here Carter. Take her to the truck, while we get the others," said Jack, throwing Tate at Carter.

"And what exactly are you going to do?" asked Tate.

"Didn't I tell you? They are coming, too. We don't want you getting lonely," responded Jack, getting his pistol from his dusty, old work boots.

"I don't think so!" yelled Tate, being dragged by Carter. Jack let out a deep laugh. He then turned to his work.

"Ok, kids. get up and walk, very slowly, to that trailor out behind the truck there. Except for you. You're going to ride with us, in the truck," said Jack, poiting to Levi. The class did as he said. Levi hopped up front next to Tate. Tate looked at him questionabley. He just shrugged. Jack hopped upfront to drive, and the others hopped in the back.

"Hey, Jack, turn on the radio" said Gordon. Jack reached over and put in on 96.3. One of Tate's favorite songs(Voices by Chris Young) came on the radio. She started singing in her head, which lead to a slight hum.

"You have a pretty good voice," Jack said, looking from side to side.

"Thanks," she mumbled quitley. He looked in the mirror at Carter, and smiled. Tate looked questionally at first, but she just let it go. They soon turned into a dirt road, and traveled for about 30 more minutes. Tate then thought about, for the first time, what was going to happen to them. The rest of her friends! She completely forgot. They soon pulled up to an old, abandoned plantation.

"Nice place," said Ty sarcastically.

"You just wait and see," said Jack, staring into the distance.
