Unexpected Love

Chapter 32

Liam explained everything that I did. I can’t believe I kissed Luke. I can’t believe I cried that Liam left me there.

Liam went out, and said I could have my day to myself. I decided I would put on yoga shorts and tank top and just settle in a bit. I know I won’t be sleeping in this room; I just need to pick out me and Ella’s room and unpack.

I picked a bedroom down stairs and Ella room was right next Shelby’s.

It took me 3 hours to completely clean. I had my music going through this huge house. I would have my dancing breaks and will always sing along with it.

P.O.V Ashton

I was hanging out with Liam and Harry today. We went a chill at the boardwalk. Liam needed to get something from home so we headed over.

“How was everyone’s night?” Harry chuckled. “It was weird” Liam let out. “What happened?” Harry looked at him confused. “Just drunk Cortnee” He told him. “What did she do?” Harry looked at me then Liam. “She cried, made out with Luke, dirty danced, and made out with me.” He said. “What?” I said. “Yup, she made out with me, saying why you don’t love me.” He told me.

“Wow,” I let out. I never really saw her drunk before. “Let’s not let her do that again.” Harry chuckled. “She is like our little sister. But two of you dated her.” Harry continued. “Well, she is crazy mofo.” Liam added. “She did date Niall” harry chuckled.

We finally arrived at his house and we walked through the mudroom. She had the music playing through the speakers, and a familiar song started to play. ‘Amnesia.’

Her voice started to sing the song. I looked at both of the boys and they shrugged their shoulders. We walked to the dining room, knowing she was in the kitchen. Her voice was angelic. She didn’t scream the words she sang them like they were hers; she added her on thing to them. I stood there listening, so much emotion in this song.

I started to walk to the door of the kitchen; “She must me singing it because of Niall” Harry spoke quietly. I looked at him, “I don’t know. Maybe you Liam.” I said. “It couldn’t be me, I never moved on.” He shook his head.

She changed the words to fit she view. I opened the door as the song ended. I saw her baking with tears in her eyes. She sang ‘I’m really not fine at all.’ “Cortnee,” I said quietly. She looked at me and wiped her tears quickly. “Ashton” a smile went across her face; she ran to me and hugged me. “When did you get here,” she looked up at me. “Just did” I smiled at her.

“What are you baking?” I asked her. “Homemade chocolate chip cookies” she giggled. “Sounds good” I laughed. She took a scoop of the dough and put it in my mouth, “Tastes good” I smacked my lips. “Are you listening to our album?” I notice ‘She’s looks so perfect’ playing. She nodded her head. She started to hum. “So what are you boys gonna be doing” she poked my cheek. “I don’t know yet.” I told her.

P.O.V Cortnee

“Well, I hope you have fun,” I continued on my fake smile. If he only knew. “Well, it looks liked you’re having fun,” he pointed out all the flour everywhere. “I hope Liam doesn’t kill me” I laughed out.

“He won’t” he chuckled. The kitchen door opened from behind me, and I turned quickly, “Hey harry” I smiled.  I walked up to him and hugged him, “I think you need a harry cut” I pulled on one of his curls. “Nah” he chuckled. “You both do” I looked at Ashton, “Nope” he said. “So are you guys going back out?” I asked. “Yeah I think so,” Harry said.

“Where is Liam?” I asked, “His room.” Harry asked. “I better go say hi,” I left the room, and headed up stairs.

I opened the door, ‘Shit, I should have knocked first’ “Sorry,” I squeezed my eyes tight. Liam was changing, and was completely naked. “It’s nothing you haven’t seen before.” He paused. “Okay, you can open your eyes” I opened my eyes; he was wearing boxers and a shirt. “Better” I smiled.
