Chapter 10

Lance awoke early that morning.

"Good morning my love," he turned over to Lotor.

But Lotor wasn't there!

"Huh," Lance shrugged as he stood up. "He must be doing emperor stuff,"

Lance got dressed in a golden chain crown, bracelets, and a sky blue robe. He wore pink sandals, and the blue robe had pink stitching and patterns. He brushed his silver hair and checked his Altayian marks to make sure they weren't infected. Then, he headed down the hall to the dining room.

The dining room was filled with delicious food from all over the galaxies. His absolute favorite food at the moment was Nectair, a grain from a planet called Sectus, used to make great pancakes. They were almost as good as Hunk's!

Lance noticed that Lotor still wasn't there.

"Excuse me?" he asked a guard passing by. "Do you know where Lotor is?"

"Yes sir," the guard said. "He's been on a video call in the throne room."

"Thank you,"

Lance walked into the throne room quietly. He noticed Lotor was on a video call.

He could only hear bits and pieces:

"Yes?...Oh, no...I uh, haven't seen him..."

Lance smirked. He thought he's sneak up and embarrass him!

He took off his shoes so he wouldn't make noise, started running, and...

"LOTOR!" Lance shouted and tackled him to the ground.

"GAH!" Lotor shouted. "Lance you have to leave!" he whisper/yelled.

"Why?" Lance asked, standing up. "Who you talkin' to-" Lance's eyes went wide as he saw who was on the screen:

Lotor stood up. "That's why!" he said.

The faces of the paladins were full of shock and confusion.

"Lotor..." Allura was the first to speak.

"Allura, let me explain!" Lotor cried, waving his hands frantically.

"You...kidnapped Lance!" she shouted.

"No! That's not-" Lotor was cut off.

"How dare you!" Keith shouted. "We trusted you!"

"No!" Lance stood up. "You don't understand!"

"Don't worry lance! We're coming!" Hunk said.

"We're coming for you Lotor!" Shiro shouted. "To the lions!"

"OMG, what have I done!" Lance grabbed his head in his hands.

"It's all right!" Lotor said. "You didn't know who I was calling!"

"But now they know I'm here, and are going to attack my boyfriend!" Lance cried.

"I guess it's time to face them!" Lotor said.

I nodded. "Guess it's time to put on the old paladin armor!"
