So Young

So young you were,

So full of life.

The way you went,

Just is not right.

Past a boy,

But not quite a man.

This is not fair,

It's not the plan.

So many hearts,

Left here broken.

So many words,

Left unspoken.

You've made us laugh,

We've laughed and smiled.

Now we cry,

You were just a child.

Loved you will stay,

And missed you will be.

Forever in our hearts

Rest in peace Maxwell Dickey
