Family

I go to work
I do my best.
When I get home
I try to rest.
But with the dogs,
The kids and you.
There always seems
There's more to do.

The kids all fight
they like to argue.
I never whip them
so what do I do?
You yell and fuss
Like everyone else.
I don't know what
To tell myself.

Do your chores
feed the dogs.
Feed our kids
who eat like hogs.
But then you have
The glory side
The fun and games
That's in our lives.

The days the kid
all get along
They all play games
And all sing songs
The dogs don't bother
Or jump around
While you and I
Joke and fool around.

Like all families
We're not perfect.
But we're a family
And we all know it.

We love each other
no matter what.
So mess with one
and we'll kick your butt.
