Scenario ➳ Lost (정호석)

The day is finally ending. Your class is over, you fixed all your items, your locker. You grabbed everything you needed out of your locker and put everything you don't. You and Hoseok are now walking down the hallway, beside each other. It was awkward and silent... it was different. You coughed, wanting the awkward tension to broke. But it doesn't.

You sighed. "That's it. Can you tell me what's wrong?" You asked, annoyed. He slightly smile at you and shakes his head. "It's nothing. Really." "Nothing? Are you serious right now? You're not yourself today." He just look ahead. You rubbed your palm at your forehead. "Hoseok... I'm your bestfriend. You can tell me everything." "Yeah... my bestfriend. I am just your bestfriend, that's why I can't tell you." You suddenly stopped in your tracks. W- what...? What do he meant by that? What is he stating clearly?

He sighed and turned to you. He forced a slight smile on his face then walked closer to you. Once he was near you, he stopped and looked down. He smiled for a minute. "Y/n-ah... I have always been your bestfriend. I was there for you since we were kids." You stood there, completed confused now as he just sighed again and looked away, smiling. "When I look at your smiling face, I become happier." You just look up at him, waiting for him to continue. He looked at you sadly. "Is it because I like you?" You look up at him with wide eyes, you tried so hard not to drop your jaw. Your heart was beating fast. "W-what is this...?" He then sighed. "It doesn't matter! Isnt it?" You look at him surprised cuz he almost shouted, but it was low. You then began to be confused. "Of course it matters Hobi! What are you-" "I lost..." Hosk then looked down. "Because I fell for you."

His voice keeps ringing your head. His statement was on repeat. He fell for you...?

He then seem to look at something behind you. He smiled at you and then walked away, past you. You turned around and saw Hoseok leaving while Taehyung was walking towards you. He looked confusely at Hoseok while Hoseok bumped him in the shoulder, kinda glaring at him. With that, Hoseok was no longer in sight, you wanted to follow him. You wanted to run to him and hug him but your mind seem to be busy at the moment and your feet seem to be stuck to the ground. Taehyung then finally made his way towards you while your looking at the ground, thinking about Hoseok. Just Hoseok. Just Him. Your bestfriend that stayed with you throughout all those years.

"Hey..." you shook your head as you finally regained yourself. You look up at him, he smiled at you and what he did next, shocked you. He hugged you. He hugged you tightly. He hugged you so tight that it made you gasp for air. "Mianhae, y/n-ah..." he was still hugging you from your waist and his head on your right shoulder as you try to get out of his grip. His grip was strong but you manage to escape. Taehyung looked away blushing. He then looked at the ground. "I like you y/n..." your blood boiled up for some reason. You managed to frown at him. "Wow Taehyung... after all those years. You just came to me now?" You crossed your arms on your chest. He looked at you shocked from your behavior. You were angry. "I liked you ever since then Taehyung. But you never noticed me. We used to be bestfriends when we were kids! But what happened? High school came and you became one of those popular kids, basically forgetting us." You sighed. "And Hoseok... he remained. Even though some of the popular kids asked him to hang out with them." You looked at where Hoseok walked off. You looked at Taehyung. You sighed and looked at the ground. "Im sorry Taehyung..." he then gave you his box smile. His smile was somehow... genuine. As if he was happy. You were confused for a moment then, you frowned at him. "How could he be happy? I just rejected him."

Taehyung then laughed, seeing you lost in your thoughts. "Y/n, the thing is..." you look up at him with furrowed eyebrows. "The reason why I basically left or ignored you guys was... I knew you had feelings for me since then y/n" you look at him with wide eyes. "and I know Hoseok had feelings for you..." you looked back down. "I like you y/n... but not like that." He sighed. "I don't want to hurt you and Hoseok so I had to distant myself." He stared at him. "I know you like Hoseok now... and I wanted him to confess. You as well." He smiled at you while ruffling your hair. You smiled back at him and hugged him. "Thank you Tae..." he laughed and moved aside. He pointed towards the way where Hoseok went earlier. "Don't worry... he's really not gone yet. Go catch up with him. Fast!" He smirked at his statement. You tilted your head, confused but ran to where he pointed at.

Taehyung smile at the back of you, looking at you running away to find Hoseok. He knew Hoseok would stay in a corner and watch you guys. He just hoped Hoseok heard the whole conversation, cuz if not- he might think of it differently. Seeing y/n hugged Taehyung and Taehyung ruffling her hair and stuff. He hoped he didn't run away.

You were now running, panting. You were turning corners to corners which led to the exit. You were running so fast, well you tried. You hoped, he's not that far away yet. You got confused at Taehyung's statement though. "What does he mean by 'he's not gone yet?' Why does it seem like it implies something?" You looked down at the ground as you closed your eyes. I haven't ran like this before my whole life. "Running is very tiring, I wish I could just teleport or fly." You then suddenly bumped into someone. A hand was infront of your face. Hoseok. He was offering his hand for you to take it and stand up. You gladly took it, not breaking eye contact from him. "Hoseok!!" He forced a smile on you. You were still breathless. You held on his shoulders, not wanting him to go anywhere while panting.
"I felt like I ran mile, so you're staying here mister and listen to what I will say."

"Hmmm?" He hummed in response, blushing as he held your hands at his shoulder, trying to calm you down. He then went to you wide and brushed his hands behind your back, patting it. "I LOST!!" You suddenly shouted which made him jump up. He held his hand in his chest and exhaled. You kinda saw him mumble a "jinja.." . If this happened at any event, you would laugh. But you were dead serious atm. You were going to confess to him. To your bestfriend. Plus you just ran. "I LOST! I LOST HOSEOK!" You shouted again. He was shook once again but this time, he was able to control himself. "What...?" "I said I lost Hoseok. I lost." Hoseok looked at you, frowning. Confused. "What do you m-"

"I lost... cuz I fell for you as well."
