Scenario ➳ Lost (정호석)

A few days have passed by after the incident that happened, you never had the courage to ask Hoseok what he meant and he never even spoke of it after, it's like it didn't happened at all. He acted the same, while for you it was awkward and you were confused.

Because a few days ago, while you're on your way to the exit of the school, you heard something. It was inside a classroom. Out of curiousity, you went closer to the classroom and peeked. It was Taehyung. Kim Taehyung. Your crush. He was with a girl and they were very close to each other, laughing and smiling. You felt your heart ache at that moment. You like Taehyung very much and every little thing he does affects you, it affects you so much. You sighed after the sight and leaned back at the wall, not glancing at them anymore.

You have your head hung low, while thinking. "Why would I even be jealous, if he's not even mine... we're not even together.. I don't own him." That's right. You're not together... but why does it affects you so much? Maybe because you two were really close before. He was your bestfriend since you were kids, along with Hoseok and eventually... you fell for him. Hard. When high school came, you two became distant to each other, you didn't know why. Taehyung sooner became famous and had lots and lots of friends, and a lot of girls swooning over him. You and Hoseok remain.
You were in the verge of crying. But why? Why can't you control it? You wanted it to stop. You wanted to stop your heart from aching and you wanted to hold back your tears. Until, Hoseok came.

You look up at him and worry was in his eyes. He hugged you tightly and placed his head on top of yours. You couldn't hold it in anymore. You cried. You let it all out. You hugged him back, tightly and cried over his shoulders while he hushed you, caressing your hair. "Shhh.. shhh. It's going to be alright. I'm here." And right after that you heard the laugthers again. You tried to move your head to peek inside but Hoseok grabbed you and then placed his hand on your chin, looking down at you while you look back at him. He looks like he was thinking, it was like he was debating something in his mind. "you can just look at me." you got shocked there for a moment. Did he just say that...? Did he really said that? You hugged Hoseok again, covering your cheeks that slightly blushed from his statement.

At that moment, your feelings got mixed up. Until now. You don't even know if you still felt something for Taehyung.
"What are you doing to me Hobi....? I feel so attacked right now."

Finally, class is over. You packed up your things and got out of class. There he was. Hoseok. Waiting for you, outside your classroom. Leaning against a wall, his backpack with him and both of his hands on his pockets. You slowly walked towards him and as he noticed you, he turned to you and smile. His smile was different today... it was like a forced smile. As if inside of him, he was hiding something.. as if he was hurt. Both of you walked off and made your way towards your lockers, his locker was just 2 lockers away from you which made you two really close to each other.

"Hey... is there something wrong?" You finally asked the boy as you closed your locker and look at him. He was just staring into his locker as if he was thinking something. He turned to look at you as you placed your hands on your hips. "Why so serious" you jokingly said while trying to impersonate the jokers voice. He just chuckled at you and walked off. You catch up with him and you two were making your way towards the canteen, to eat lunch. "Seriously though, what's wrong?" "Nothing." You pouted, knowing you can't persuade him. He smiled at you and ruffled your hair.

You weren't the only one who fell hard for your bestfriend. Unfortunately, Hoseok fell hard for you too. He had liked you ever since you were kids but you only had your eyes for Taehyung. Even though it hurted him, he doesn't care. As long as he sees you happy. He was planning on confessing to you today but eventually his mood got ruined. He found out Taehyung developed some feelings for you and is planning to confess and apologize to you today. He knew you had feelings for Taehyung... and he was scared and happy at the same time. He was scared that you'll accept Taehyung's confession and be with him... but he's happy for you, knowing you'll be happy with Taehyung.
