Gryffindor values those that brave, daring, chivalrous, bold and courageous. Being a Gryffindor doesn't mean you always risk it for the biscuit. Some Gryffindors are brave because they know just when to back down, even if it means losing their dignity.
Sweet, sweet justice.
Gryffindors crave justice. Whether it be justice for a friend, family or themselves Gryffindors are unable to resist the sweet taste of victory and justice.

Just because Hufflepuff is my house, I'm not going to be biased. Helga Hufflepuff valued those that were hard-working, loyal, just, kind and fair. However, she did not hesitate to take in those that felt as though they didn't fit in, stating that 'I'll teach the lot and treat them just the same.'
Hufflepuffs huff and puff, powering through work that needs to be done and don't give up easily.
Some say Hufflepuffs are duffers. Of course some are, but there must also be duffers in Gryffindor, Ravenclaw and Slytherin!

Ravenclaw house is for those that are intelligent, witty, creative, innovative and wise. Ravenclaws have the ability to look at things with a fresh, rational perspective. Unlike some of the other houses, Ravenclaw doesn't just value intelligence but also creativity and hardiness. Artists, musicians and performers would all do well in Ravenclaw using their originality to their advantage.
Being in Ravenclaw doesn't mean you're a bookworm. You could very well be a pro athlete, revising strategies and improving game plays so that victory will be within an arms reach.

According to stereotypes, all Slytherins are evil, but that is far from the truth. Just look at Regulus and Andromeda Black. Reg and Andy are only two examples of the many righteous, courageous and intelligent Slytherins.
Slytherin values those that are ambitious, resourceful, cunning, determined and able to persevere. Slytherins are very loyal to their cause, which is why their opinions are very uneasily swayed.
You know for sure that you can trust a Slytherin that is loyal to you because when you put faith in them, they won't let you down.
