The first time Kirstie saw him was a normal night at the bar with her new band, Pentatonix. She just joined the band as a soprano and the only girl of the band, along with Matt, a bass. The band decided to meet the first time at Helixotez, after the three boys had interviewed them through Skype. She didn't get much questions though, she is Scott's friend and somehow the blond baritone found the way to pull her into this thing, this fame,
This situation.
She swore she saw him, she saw him. The man with fainted smile, hair tied, in his awfully nice black shirts and jeans looking at her from the corner of the bar. He was absolutely different from the others, without fake scents and without too much make up on, he was just simple, seemed like he was apart from the rest. A strange feeling told her to come and greet, but,
"Hey, Kirstie! We are sitting right there, I thought you haven't come.", Scott smiled kindly to her, pat his hand on her shoulder. "Have your drink yet?"
"Yes, I have ordered it.", she answered quickly and turned back to the corner. No one.
She furrowed brows.
The blond took the tray, gestured to the table where she could see a brunette boy with his fashioned hair and two dark skinned men sitting. "Lady's first."
They got along quite well, you may say, especially the quick developed relationship between Kevin, the beatboxer and Matt, the new bass.
Kevin seemed mature and intelligent, obviously the guy she would fall for if she was a sapiosexual, or if she wanted to settle down. But unfortunately, or fortunately, she was not and she didn't. Kevin was warm and gentle, and Kirstie was up to get close to him. With Matt, who was more talkative than you thought he was, he was alright. Please don't get her wrong, she didn't hate him, but the fact that he was trying to break the ice wasn't her type. But he was alright. Alright.
The other two was more than enough. Kirstie was interested by Mitch's knowledge in fashion overall, and Scott's sense of humor. Mitch sounded sassy, and bitchy, and she loved it. She saw his MVs, now his live (and drunken) performance on the karaoke bar's stage, she knew they had more in common than they thought. With Scott, the handsome, the famous one in their school, who grew up to be 100% wonderful, he took care of her all night. They were dating before, but she didn't remember he had never ever been this gentle. Like, he was afraid she would be lost in the crowd if he wasn't there.
After about two or three cups of beer later, she got tipsy, a little bit, of course still better than the tenor laying his head on her shoulder. Scott also came back after slayed some Beyonce's, he leaned his head back, cheeks tinted red.
Kirstie curiously asked, ran her hand through Mitch's hair. "For that kind of fashionista you look like, isn't it weird that all three of you wearing beanie and lumberjack into the bar?"
Silence.
The air tensed for a second, she could feel. And she heard a quiet, deep chuckle beside her ear.
She turned around to find any hint of the voice, but there were again voices and rambles against her ears.
"It's just a tradition." Kevin spoke up. "Kinda like a ritual, I don't know, for a close friend of us."
"Oh, I'm so--"
A phone rung cut off her apologize. Scott pulled out his phone, and answered without looking at the ID.
He slammed the phone onto their table when he finished. "Motherfucker guys! My ex is moving back to NYC."
"Alex, huh? Mr. Hot As Fuck?", Mtxh teasingly said, his eyes glinted evilness.
"He just called Beau and Beau calles me. I'm fucked up."
Matt raised an eyebrow, confusing, "What happened?"
"Well, he broke our engagement for a fucking scholarship in London.", Scott said, groaned. "Haven't seen him since that day though."
"One way or another, we are all sucked in love.", Kevin confirmed with a sip of his beer. "How about you two, any tragedy in love? If you don't have a shitty breakup, we aren't sure we can be friends with you."
Which led to two hours later and some other rounds, Kirstie found herself talking about the broken engagement with her fiancé six months ago and how a jerk he was in general. Scott comforted her with stroking on her back and Mitch hugged her waist, Kevin smiled sympathetically with Matt gave her a few "sorry"s, but she could hear someone laughed a bit, and a whisper "That sounds like a mess, Dirst".
"Well, that's fun a night, but we gotta go home, matey.", Kevin said, tapped Matt's shoulder. "I'll take you home. Scott, can you please?", he gestured to Kirstie.
"No problem, Mitch won't let go of her anyway.", the blond carried Mitch up easily and took her hand on his. "I'll text you the next arrangement. Good night, y'all."
"You should watch Mitch, his voice is hilarious when he's drunk.", a deep voice echoed behind her. Kirstie turned around, and around, until Scott pulled her ahead.
Still no one.

They love going to the bar. At least, they here mean Scott, Mitch and Kirstie. The Scömichè is more interesting than Kirstie thought, and they are things that she didn't know she needs. Mitch has a boyfriend named Beau and he is still give them 100% his time whenever they need. She love the idea of them fixing each other.
She goes to the bar early that night, wanders her eyes around the beverages on the racks and boys for Scott, her heartbroken friend. But nothing goes right to her intention, though.
He is standing at the end of the bar, leaning against the wall with a vague look on his face. She doesn't know why he always be so out of the place, like he doesn't like the crowd or the bar. A smirk tingling in the beautiful colored orbs that she couldn't tell, the black tee just about to his thighs and his black boots clearly have an attractive look. When her eyes go back on his face, their eyes meet and she feel electric run through her veins.
Someone bumps into her makes Kirstie turns around. It is a good-looking man with his hair short and brown, stammers out apologies for his touch. Quickly turns back to the wall, the man is completely gone. "Sorry but do you... see a man over there? Long hair, with beard and maybe really deep voice?"
The guy pauses a minute, blinks, "Does he wear a beanie, boots or lumberjack?"
"Yeah.", she confirmed. "You know him?"
Her new friend’s head snaps around, searching every direction in excitement that seems slightly tinged with panic but he finds nothing and his face settles into a frown. "Oh, it just sounded like a bae I used to know. Nice to meet you, I just moved back to city and this used to be the place I went to every night."
"Nice to meet you, too.", Kirstie shakes his hand. "For the comeback, mind if I buy you a drink?"
"I never let a lady buy me drink but if you insist...", he smiles and pulled out a chair for her. "Please."
They end up talking for an hour or more. He is a funny guy with an intelligent sense of humor, which attracts many men come and flirt with him. When she sees Scott and Mitch at the corner of her eyes, she calls them over. "Hey, meet my new friend! Scott, 20$ you gonna--"
Then she stops talking because she can see the sudden tension in Scott’s face, his cheeks burning and his body shaking. Mitch gasps at the sight of the man, eyes widen. She glances back to the guy she’s been chatting with, who looks real pale by now and Kirstie realizes she never asks him for his name.
"Alex.", Scott whimpers, hurting.
Oh.
Oh.
