lana has the glitz of a thousand sun yolks dangling from her ears, and leaking through the cracks of silicone skin and pinched cheeks of cherry blossoms or pink-rimmed sin, i can't quite seem to decide.
she wraps the starlit pearls around my throat, and it's not the first time i'm left breathless, but i know my lana likes to see my eyes water knowing later that night she'll be able to baptise in the ocean bath of my tears or sweat or blood. maybe even all three.
i know these broken cider bottles beneath my feet and the lighter between her teeth, are the only things being set ablaze. 'cus you know our love slipped like moist morning grass between our whitened ribcages.
the sun on my skin feeling so blistering and punishing, but it reminds me of my lanas nails so i cherish the feeling and bottle the love we once had, and it tastes like stale orange soda, mixed with the burning nebula from between my teeth from when you pierced my skin with your fingertips and kissed my cheek but never my lips.
i drown in those green orbs, until the walls are too tall to climb, and i'm plummeting upwards into my lana's arms in which i lay and die, every day and every night.
my coax veins entwine with the tides of a silver moon and splatter against a 2 am sky, i dance to the flickering of liquid street lamps, till her name becomes another forgotten four lettered idiom.
