It had been a few weeks after my false labor and I only had two more weeks of being pregnant. I was kinda gonna miss it.
I was gonna miss Ray waking me up in the morning with a camera in my face and videotaping me, him taking picture of my belly, him touching my belly, my kids kissing my belly. My belly.
"Do you want a boy or girl?" I asked Ray. It was the kids' nap time and they were completely knocked out upstairs while Ray and I were downstairs.
"It doesn't matter. I just want it to be healthy, and I want you to be okay." he said, giving me a kiss. "I love you."
"I love you too." I said, giving him another kiss, "but sweetie, I'm so hungry right now."
He laughed, "what you want?"
"Like, the biggest plate of Chinese ever invented." I smiled, "and like some hot wings, and chocolate cake."
He playfully glared at me, "okay, maybe just the Chinese and hot wings." he glared again, "i'm eating for two, dammit."
"Alright, alright." he chuckled and stood up, grabbing his phone off counter. He went into the kitchen and I heard him talking. Loud and thoroughly. "Yes, a large Shrimp Fried Rice, large Shrimp Lo Mein, and large General Tso chicken... Yeah that's all. 5468 Turners Creek. Yeah, thanks." he said, hanging up. "Alright." he said, coming back into the living room, "It's ordered, should be about 30-45 minutes, anything else?"
"Not now." I smiled, touching my belly. "What we gonna name it?" I asked.
"Boy or girl names?" he sat on the couch beside me, laying on my lap.
"Girl."
"Hm." he sat up and then sat facing me. "I don't know. Whatever we name her it'll be perfect."
"I like Sophia." I smiled.
"Sophia, huh?" he questioned. I nodded my head, "I love it." he smiled, "and I love you."
I smiled at him and then went to stand up, which of course cause me some problems, "what you need?" Ray asked, sitting me back down.
"I wanna get up." I said, finally being able to push myself up and wobble to the kitchen. I walked around the kitchen for a second and just sighed. I heard Ray's footsteps and turned towards an entry of the kitchen.
"You alright?" he asked, touching my stomach, "any pain?"
"I'm fine." I breathed out, "just thinking."
"What about?"
"How if we're gonna have enough room for a baby in this house.." I said, looking around.
"I was thinking about that the other day, myself. I actually saw a house that I thought we could check out."
"Really? When?"
"Tomorrow, I mean.. It's three kids. And hopefully more to come, maybe?" he raised his eyebrow at me.
"Okay sir, you're not the one carrying the baby. Can I at least have this baby before we talk about the possibilities of having another?"
"Yeah baby." he smiled and kissed my forehead and touched my stomach, "I love you little man.. or baby girl, which ever." he chuckled and kissed my stomach. "So tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow." I smiled and then wobbled back to the living room.

I let my cheetah print flats fall to the floor and put both of my feet in. Afterwards I pulled my yellow cardigan over my white tank and went to the long mirror in the corner and Ray's bedroom and looked at myself. I smiled a little, touching my belly and then smiling even bigger.
