The Man I Wasn't In love With(REIGN'S STORY) ON HOLD

Chapter 6

"He's handsome alright, look at his adorable face and blue eyes" Papa says kissing my cheek

"We know how to make beautiful babies,have you seen the twins, so cute" Dad says pulling Papa close and nuzzling him as he smiles

"Well, why did you invite me to your date?" I say cause they are smiling at each other and can't stop looking at each other.

They turn back to me and smile sheepishly,

"Sorry" they say. Then Papa's phone starts ringing as he pulls it out of his pocket
"Its Bianca" he mouths at us and puts it on loud

"Hey,  how are you doing? Papa asks

" Am fine Vic, where are you? " she asks

Dad and I look at each other. Why would she be calling and asking where Papa is? She isn't supposed to interfere in our lives. She signed the agreement.

"Am with my son and husband" Papa says

"Oooh,  are you coming back soon? I was craving some black forest cake" she says

"I'll get you some on our way back " Papa says

Then he hangs up and tells us to remind him to get the cake. When we are done eating, Papa goes to order for a cake and I remain with dad.
I give him that knowing look.

"Are you thinking about what am thinking" I say

"Yes,  how long does it take to fix a leak? Its been three days" Dad says

"I know, we have to do something" I say

"I don't like the way she clings to my husband, according to our agreement, she is not supposed to even be at our house" Dad says ruffling his hair

"You know Papa is too sweet to make her leave " I say

" So we'll handle it " dad says winking at me

I smile back at him as he gets his phone and calls someone.

"Hello, Ryan Alvares here, I need a favour, can you go to this address and check our the leak, or if it's already fixed" dad says

"You're a smart one dad" I say

He had called our maintenance guy. He was fast and efficient. He would do the job well.

As Papa comes back with two boxes of cake, we look at him questioningly.

"Its for the kids when they return from their grand parents" Papa says

"They are going to love it honey" Dad says as he takes the other cake and we go to the car.

At home.

As soon as we reach home, Papa grabs a plate and knife and some juice and says he is taking it to Bianca. We follow him upstairs and when we go to her room, we find her watching a movie and having chocolate. She smiles when she sees Papa but when we follow in, the smile fades away.

Papa hands her the tray and slices some  cake for her. Then he makes sure she is comfortable then he goes to dad and dad puts his hands around his waist and kisses his forehead.

"We are going downstairs to wait for my babies" Papa says as we leave to go wait for the twins.

A few minutes later, we hear footsteps running towards the front door. The door opens and the kids come running in.

"What did I say about running around?" Dad asks

"That we can fall" Keith says

"Papa! Papa!" The younger twins Ryan and Vic say running to our Papa. They loved him so much. They were always following him around.

"My babies" Papa says kneeling down to hug them

"How was grandma's" Dad asks them

"We ate cookies and we played and we ate apples" Kellan says as they all immediately launch into stories for the day.

"Alright, shower time" Papa says

Immediately, we prepare for the obvious. They start running away. They never liked shower time.

"We have cake" Dad says. That draws them in and they agree to the shower.

I carry Keith while Dad carries the mini Vic and Ryan, Papa carries Kellan.

After giving them a bath, we dress them in their night clothes, make them have supper and put them to bed.

Then Papa receives that all important call from our maintenance guy. He gives me a thumbs up. Now to tell Papa and get this moving.

After telling Papa, he seemed kind of hesistant but he agreed Bianca would be more comfortable at her place. So he went upstairs to inform her.

"So, my apartment has been fixed?" Bianca asks

"Yes, we got a call" Papa says

"Funny, I thought it would take weeks" she replies

"Thankfully its fixed and you can be home tomorrow, you'll be more comfortable and around your nurse" Papa

"Yes, am excited" Bianca says

Dad smirks at me and I grin back. We fist bump in the hallway. Mission accomplished. She did not look excited at all. Not at all.

The next day

As we were packing Bianca's stuff into the car, we hear a scream.
