Levy P.O.V

It's been a week since we came back to Fairy Tail. Nearly a month since the tomb. I felt numb and I wouldn't talk to anyone, not even Lucy. After Gajeel fell we waited at the ledge. Carla even flew to the water after she regained consciousness but couldn't find him. The guild was quiet and gloomy, especially today. Rain was pouring outside and I couldn't tell if it was natural, or Juvias sorrow for her oldest friend.

We all stood in front of a dragon statue in the guilds garden. The master spoke, trying to stay strong for everyone. As he spoke I could only think of the last conversation we had before the attack.

*Flashback*

I went back to the stack of papers Wendy had copied for me and continued translating. Wendy had curled up and gone to sleep after eating. "Man I thought this tomb was supposed to have monsters and beasts. It's a serious let down." Gajeel groaned.

I rolled my eyes, "You missed your chance with dark guild." I said. He groaned again. "I hope they come back, I wanted to kick their asses." I sighed. "Why is everything fighting with you huh?" He raised an eyebrow then shrugged. "It's all I really know." I looked at him then smiled a little. "Well if they do show back up then you can take them all, and me and Wendy will watch." He grinned. "Don't worry shrimp, I'll be fine, Gihee."

*Flashback End*

By the time I came back to my senses everyone had gone back inside and I was staring at the statue. The plaque made my heart ache.

'Here lies Gajeel Redfox- Friend, Brother in Arms and beloved Dragon Slayer. May he be forever with us.'

I fell to my knees, finally bursting into tears. I pounded my fist on the ground. "You said you'd be fine damn it!" I shouted to the sky. My best friend, and the man I somehow fell hard for, was gone forever. I felt slender arms wrap around me. "Levy..." I turned and sobbed into Lucy's chest. She held me as she cried quietly, allowing me to sob. The rain stopped, and I looked up to see Juvia hiding an umbrella over us. She kept trying to wipe the tears from her face but they wouldn't stop falling.

I pulled her down with us an the three of us clung to each other as we cried.

Wendy P.O.V

It's been a week since Gajeels funeral. The guild was still quiet, Natsu and Grey didn't fight. Cana didn't touch a barrel, Elfman even stopped shouting about being a man. With out even knowing it, Gajeel had become part of everyone's hearts. I havnt been here long, and even I was destroyed to see him gone. Levy was hardly ever at the guild, either alone on a job or locked in her room at Fairy Hills.

Today though she finally joined us,sitting quietly at the bar. She didn't wear her orange dress, instead she wore tan jeans and a blue vest and a white tank top underneath. She didn't even have a headband in her hair.

I sat beside her and smiled a little. "Hey Levy." she tried to smile. "Hey Wendy." Her voice cracked a little. I gently pat her arm and she turned back to her food she had been picking at. We sat quietly, listening to Juvias rain. She had offered to go on a week long job to take away the rain but we insisted she stay. Beside me Carla suddenly gasped.

"What's wrong Carla?" I asked her. Her eyes were wide but she didn't say anything. She turned to the doors as soon as they burst open. We all turned, and the already quiet guild was dead silent. We all stared and I could feel tears falling from my eyes.

General P.O.V

The gloomy guild stared in shock at the crimson eyed man who entered the hall. His eyes scanned the room until they landed on a blue haired mage, her brown eyes wide with tears. They simply stared at each other for the longest time. She shakily got to her feet before running at him, throwing herself into his arm. She sobbed into his chest."Gajeel!"
