A cunning Slytherin, Ria Zeamwell, is far from popular.
With her best friend being Severus Snape, the laughing stock for everyone, she definitely doesn't hang out with the popular crowds, and even Lily Evans can't lift her reputati...

When Ria Zeamwell cautiously walked onto Hogwarts Express, the confidence she had had previously suddenly shattered.
She had no idea what she was doing.
Young witches and wizards pushed past her hastily, the noise drowning the sounds of her own racing heartbeat as everyone rushed to find a seat.
She was slammed against the wall one more time, and her patience was running out.
She willed herself to lash out and stand up for herself, but she found herself unable to do anything else but shoot the dark-haired boy with glasses a mean look. He didn't even look at her as he ran into another compartment.
With a sigh, she walked on, her anxiety causing her to look for an empty compartment.
But every single one seemed to be full, and she found herself entering the same one the boy who pushed her was in.
She opened the door, noticing two seats were free and four occupied. On one side sat the boy with glasses, seeming like he was in the middle of a speech, next to him was a long-haired boy who looked just as smug, and across from them a flame-haired girl and a boy with long black hair, both seeming more held back.
"Uhm, can I sit here?" Ria asked awkwardly as they all eyed me.
The girl with flame hair smiled and pointed to a seat next to the black haired boy.
"Of course!" she said happily, and Ria nodded, taking her seat.
"I'm James! This is Sirius, that's Lily, and Severus." the glasses boy said, and Ria nodded.
"I'm Ria," she said quietly, feeling slightly uncomfortable.
"We were just discussing Hogwarts houses. I want to be in Gryffindor! 'Gryffindor, where dwell the brave at heart!' Like my dad. Got a problem with that?" he said, sweeping his gaze across everyone present.
Severus, the black haired boy, sneered.
"No. If you'd rather be brawny instead of brainy —" he started, but was interrupted by Sirius.
"Where are you hoping to go, seeing as you're neither?" he asked, and both Lily and Severus shot him an angry gaze.
"Slytherin, for sure," he said, and Ria found herself nodding in agreement. Her mother was a Ravenclaw and her father was a Slytherin, but she never found herself fitting the Ravenclaw's creative and studious nature, although she did enjoy reading muggle fiction.
"Fitting, seeing you're so slimy!" James said with a grin.
"Actually, snakes aren't slimy. They don't produce slime, they're actually pretty dry and smooth," Ria said through a sudden burst of confidence, and then shut up, looking away.
"Enough about that, okay?" Lily said suddenly, breaking the hostile silence Ria was greatly uncomfortable with.
