Chapter 08

"Why were you out at such odd hour at night" asked y/ns mother who was investigating her for last night incident

"I told you na my handkerchief fell down so i went to pic it" lied y/n

"you already know that you cant lie dea" said her mom while y/n remembered that there is a secret lie detector machine set in her moms mind

'now i got the reason why people call moms all rounder they can be investigators , lie detectors and what not' y/n thought and laughed in her mind while maintained a straight face

"tell me why were you out?" Roared her mom

"Actually" y/n said while stammering due to her moms anger burst

"are you trying to plan an elope with your Secret lover?" Asked her mom suspiciously

"nah mom" said y/n instantly

"then?" Asked y/ns mom

"i.." Y/n was about to tell the truth when y/ns moms Phone rang it was sanams moms call

"i hope you dont repeat same thing next time" said her mom

"go and have breakfast" said her mom and stopped her investigation.

IN PURI HOUSE

"Chachu" ruhi whispered in sanams ears who was sleeping

"Go and sleep ruhi" said sanam and turned to either side suddenly her felt small tiny fingers tickling his legs

"Stop it ruhi" he said and covered his body with duvet after some time he felt tiny hands trying to open his eyelids

"Stop it Ruhi let me sleep" he shouted frustratingly and at next second his eardrums were about to break due to loud shrills of ruhis cry he got up while groaning and took lil ruhi in her lap where as she was trying to hit him by her small hands

"You shouted on me i hate you chachu" she said while in between her cries

"ruhi i was sleeping!! if you irritate me and wake up its obvious that i would get angry" he said gaining calm tone

"but that doesnt mean you shout on me" she said

"ohk sorry" he said

"hold your ears and say" she said and he did same

"am i forgiven?" He asked

"no" she replied

"answer me" she said

"ask!" He replied again laying down

"why were you and chachi playing games at late night?" She asked and he woke up startedly

"how do you know?" He asked

"I wasnt sleeping and then i heard voice of our door i thought dad is going somewhere but when i saw in their room both mom and dad were sleeping  then my next suspicion was on you so i came to check your room where you had locked it as per your habit of locking the room after going out so i knew it was you after sometime i took a small nap and woke up i came in passage of upper floor and found you two playing game i was about to come down when i heard some voice from dads room so i ran back to bed and slept" she explained

"woah girl dont you sleep at night?" He asked

"first answer me why were you guys playing games at such late night? " she asked

"dont tell to anyone its just your chachi is not allowed to games her mom has took all her games" said sanam  explained her knowing well that she wont blurt out secret to anyone

"ohh" ruhi replied

"now tell me why dont you sleep at night?" Asked sanam

"The night was awake you were awake so i had to wake up" she said while trying to turn a dialogue from frozen into her words

"hey thats not my answer" he said

"i dont like sleeping at night i usually sleep at 2:30 or 3:00" she replied "

then what do you do till that time" he asked

"i stay awake and stare at moon talk to moon then draw things and listen to songs in mind" she said

"but chahu promise me you wont tell this to mumma or else i will tell your secret to mumma" she said

"ohk deal" he said while forwarding his hand

"deal but lets seal this deal by a party from you to me only me" she said while sanam nodded as he had no option cause that lil girl knew his lil secret but he didn't know that not only lil girl but almost whole family knew about y/n sneaking out here once sanam came down everyone stopped the talk and maintained a serious  face

"where did you go yesterday night?" Asked his mom

"nowhere!" Sanam lied while asking ruhi if she told anything by his facial expression but she denied

"Dont lie" said his mom

"mom i just went to. too.. Get a charger for me" he lied

"at 11 of night" his mom asked suspiciously

"Yeah its just my phone was dead and my charger broke i thought it wasnt good to disturb you and dad or bhai or bhabhi so i went to buy new ask to ruhi even she was with me" sanam lied confidently and pleaded ruhi to help him

"yes grandma i was with chachu we even had ice cream and we bought a balloon too but it bursted due to chachu" ruhi supported her beloved chachu

"from next time inform in the house and go" said his mom while laughing loudly in her mind seeing her son lying and stuck in such situation after having breakfast his mom called y/n's mom

"mission accomplished"
Both moms said in unison and laughed

"i tell you his face was worth seeing" said his mom

"and y/n was just like freaked off your phone just saved her or else i was going to tease her more" her mom said

"that was fun though" said his mom

"yeah i agree" y/ns mom

"but how did you get to know their plan?" Asked her mom

"i heard him asking to sneak out here to play games"said his mom

" such a eavesdropper you are" said her mom

"i aint i just over heard the convo" said his mom

"they must be thinking their secret is safe but no our whole families know it😂" said her mom

"yeah you know my little ruhi also supported her chachu" said his mom and both continued to chatter about it while sanam called y/n and both talked about how they were about to get caught! It was their fun memory made!!
