Twelve

I nip into the on-suite bathroom and close the door. And pull the shorts on before I walk out again, adjusting my hair into a messy bun. The boys smile at me from the bed: "I'm not going to lie; I quite enjoy having a girl around." Sehun smiled as I flush and looks down at my feet as they all chuckle again: "Don't worry about letting us see your ass in the morning, we don't mind" Chanyeol laughed, and Junmyeon slaps him over the arm: "We've already seen you in less, well some of us has." Jongin adds as I feel even more embarrassed as I can tell Junmyeon might attack Jongin.

"When I think about it, we should go swimming today." Sehun smiles wide: "You sure?" Junmyeon is rilled up as he looks at Sehun, who chuckles, "Anything to see me naked, hu?" I joked, catching them all off guard and make them laugh.

I leave them laughing on the bed as I search for Jongdae's room, after some exploring I find him, he's packing some clothes into a fancy bag. He looks up and smiles at me: "Lily."

He stops and watches me as I walk over and sit down on his bed and tuck my feet under me. "You're leaving us?" I ask, and he smiled: "Are you going to miss me?" He chuckled: "Of course." He smiled as I finished speaking. "I'll be back, in a week or so, our Chinese friend will pop in soon, though... so you won't be all that bored." He said as he finished packing his bag.

"Wait, more boys?" I ask, confused; "Yeah, there are three more of us, that you haven't met yet " Jongdae chuckled; "How are you guys related or whatever? Because it sounds like a big family." I say, and he chuckles again: "Well, we aren't actually related, we work closely together, so we sort of became a family." I smile and feel oddly jealous. Even though I was new in this friendship pit, I'd never really been one in the family. I think.

I sit there and ponder away in silence as Jongdae adds to his bag: "Lily." I hear and look at Jongin at the door: "Someone is here looking for you." He said gently, but with a serious undertone. I narrow my eyes because I have a mental list of people I can think of that could be looking for me. But when I see Callie, I frown and walk over to her, and I instantly start to boil on the inside.

"So it was here you were, after all." She says with a tone of annoyance. How could she possibly be annoyed? I'm an annoyed one.

"Oh, wow, you found me a good bloodhound." I say sarcastically: "You should apologize to Lauren." And I can't believe my ears; "What the fuck did you just say?" She tosses her hair over her shoulder. "Lying to her face like that was uncalled for." She shrugged, and I can't believe what she says: "She's, after all, Lee's new girlfriend, you should at least respect that." I lift my hand to slap her, but Jongin's hand wrap around my wrist, and he looks at me and shakes his head: "She's not worth that." He said gently, his back against her.

"Oh I see another guy you're fucking, I was right, you're such a slut." I hear a gasp as I turn to see Misty looking at us: "Callie." She says in external shock: "What the actual fuck!"

As we stand there, more people are coming, Jung pops out behind Misty, and he just missed what Callie has said: "Lily, where have you been? We've been worried sick." He says as he comes up to my side and tries to hug me: "Don't touch her, she's been cheating on lee, I knew it, I called it." Jung looked at Callie in disbelief: "It all started at her work event, the rumor was true, I was right in telling him." Callie speaks with such confidence.

"Jongin, let go of me because I'm about to murder her," I say low, as Misty speaks gently: "Which work event?" She stepped between Callie and me, fully aware I'd most likely jump her. "That one over a year ago?" Misty asks, "One where she slept with someone... someone saw her." Callie said confidently as I feel Jongin's hand loosen around my wrist when Misty almost screams out in return, his eyes are on me, and his hand has a tight but supportive grip: "Callie, you have no fucking idea of what you are talking about!" Misty snarls, and Jung isn't watching Callie; something must have given me away. Jung worked with me up till last year, that's how we became friends, so if anyone knows the people surrounded us at work, it would be him.

"Who was she suppose to have slept with?" Jung asks, watching me; "Do you think I know?" Callie sassed Jung, who was annoyed with Callie now; I wonder what he sees in her? I have zero ideas. "Her boss or something?" Jung frowns: "Callie, he's gay, she wouldn't have slept with him... Unless.." I Had another boss for the project I was working on, and Jung's eyes widened. The rumors about the monster had not gone missed by anyone. Everyone had avoided him like the plague. Misty is boiling I can see her vibrate, and honestly I'm happy no one else is here at this moment.

"She had an abortion last year." Callie says in a matter of fact way, to my surprise, this was news to me; "What the fuck makes you say that?" Misty has taken on this battle as I feel sick, light-headed. Memories I don't want to start displaying themselves in my head. "When we went to the hospital for that visit, it wasn't an appendix; she doesn't even have a scar." Now it's Jung who steps in-between Callie and Misty.

"Callie, I think you need to shut the fuck up." I've never in my life heard him speak like that to her before. "How dare you... what are you even?" Misty is now crying; "How could you do this to Lily?" Misty sobs out, and Callie is starting to appear confused; she had no idea why Jung wouldn't take her side. And why Misty now is crying. Jongin, is holding me up, and I can tell he's worried. "We should go." He whispers as I feel like I'm about to faint; "What are you guys doing? Why are you taking out your anger on me?" Callie questions, "Does Lee honestly think, Lily, cheated?" Jung asks her: "Did you tell him that?" He adds, she just blinks: "Yeah, of course, he's our friend?" I don't know what Jung had in his hand, but it came crashing to the ground making Misty shriek.

"What the fuck is going on?" Callie says it's easy to see that she knows she might have lost the battle. "How can you be so fucking stupid? To do that to a friend? what did you gain on betraying your friend?" Jung questions her: "Babe... I only did.." Callie start and Jung puts up his hand in front of her face: "You must hate Lily so much that you spread rumors about her cheating when she was actually raped." Hearing Jung get what happened, without me even having to say it, and when Callie had been entirely oblivious, "What did you tell Lee? That she had an abortion because she fucked around? And she didn't know who the father was or something?" Jung hit her right on the head because she looks slightly embarrassed.

Misty watches her, her eyes are burning read, with sadness and hate, and I know I can't stop her: "She had surgery because he destroyed her." Misty said as more tears rolled down her cheeks, and I find myself weaker now than a year ago. "They kept her sedated for three days because he strangled her, that's why we lied to Lee."

And all light in Callie's eyes disappear, it was clear to Callie she had fucked up so much that there was no point of return. She thought she'd come out on the winning side. Whatever side that now was.
