During the ride, Seungmin noticed the person beside him was too quiet.

Another five minutes passed and they still hadn't exchange any words but Seungmin didn't mind too much. He took this chance to think of the things he'll be saying later.

He was scared, that's for sure, but he didn't want that to be the cause of him not able to get everything off his shoulders when he the opportunity was given to him.

It was time, he knew. Maybe he will truly heal after this. It's a risk that he was willing to take and whatever the outcome will be, he'll try to embrace it.

Seungmin smiled to himself as he gather his courage for the talk. He needed to be strong even if his uncle and Hyunjin will be there.

The scenery outside helped to calm him down. The wonderful orange hue given off from the sun was eye-pleasing and Seungmin stared at it.

Just then, he felt a weight on his left shoulder which made his smile widen.

"How are you?" An arm was then circled arround his left one.

Seungmin hummed for a few second before saying that he was feeling nervous and scared but he will be okay.

He heard a sigh which made him chuckled.

"Can't you at least lie?" Hyunjin whined and hit Seungmin's stomach playfully.

Laughing and ruffling Hyunjin's hair, Seungmin then teasingly lectured him on how lying is bad which earned another smack from his best friend.

"We'll be arriving soon so let's shower first and rest before dinner time. How does that sound?" Hyunjin suggested as he lifted his head.

Seungmin nodded, ignoring the small voice in his head that was whining when the warm left his shoulder.

Just then, a huge gate came into view. Seungmin stared in awe as it slid open revealing a huge house with huge pillars, a big white water fountain and a wide garden full of white roses which were all very familiar to him.

"The roses are still well kept, huh," Seungmin smiled and watched the flora danced with the wind.

"Yeah," the older breathed out, staring at the amused Seungmin beside him.

As they went in, Hyunjin immediately brought Seungmin up to his room, not planning on meeting his parents yet.

They took turns showering, Hyunjin lent Seungmin his clothes, and soon decided to play some games to pass the time.

He was amazed and touched that his best friend still remembers his house and his room- Seungmin easily found where he hid his Got7 albums and merchandises that he secretly bought during their high school years.

Extra info: Got7 members are still promoting which Hyunjin was so happy about.

Time seemed to flew by so fast when he was with Seungmin because the next time he blinked, Felix was knocking on his door and informing them that dinner was ready.

"We're coming!"

Both of them tidied up the game consoles and mangas before fixing their clothes and hairs to look more presentable.

Seungmin exhaled and inhaled deeply a few times while wiping his sweaty hands on the side of his jeans -Hyunjin's jeans actually.

Everything will be okay. You'll be fine down there. It's only Hyunjin's parents, you know them.

Yes, Seungmin knew them. He remembered them when he remembered his best friend.

His eyes closed for a few seconds to clear his mind from any unwanted thoughts and once he opened them, his best friend was standing in front of him with an assuring smile while holding the door open.

"Let's go."

Seungmin nodded and smiled back, following Hyunjin down the stairs to the dining room. It was quite far from the stairs since it was more to the back of the house...or mansion.

Minsoo was already there, exchanging words with Hyunjin's father while Hyunjin's mother was checking her phone.

Seeing both of them, Felix announced their arrival and everyone turned their attention to Seungmin and Hyunjin.

They took their seats beside each other and Seungmin greeted Hyunjin's parents while Hyunjin greeted Seungmin's uncle.

Soon enough, they began dinner. It was surprisingly awkward-free and Seungmin thought that maybe it wouldn't be so bad to have the talk.

"So," Seonmi settled down her spoon at the side of her dessert dish and looked at Minsoo then at Seungmin.

"We shall get to the main agenda of the night, shall we not?"

Seungmin was about to answer this when Minsoo held up his hand, preventing him to do so. The younger blinked twice at his uncle.

"Let us have this talk with just the adults," Minsoo suggested and glanced at the two boys in front of him. "Let the kids have their own time."

And just like that, both of them were back in Hyunjin's spacious room, sitting cross-legged on the older's fluffy carpet.

Their shoulders brushed with each other as they enjoyed the comfortable silence while watching the stars from Hyunjin's wide window.

It was sparkling beautifully and Seungmin couldn't help but to compare it with the person beside him. A smile crept on his face.

Effortlessly beautiful.

His heart was beating a bit faster than usual when Hyunjin's fingers lightly brushed his when the older was moving his hand to pull out his phone.

Seungmin side-eyed him, who was reading something from his phone, before mentally shaking his head.

He's your best friend...this feelings should have died long ago-no.

His smile dropped a little.

They were never supposed to exist in the first place. Who's stupid enough to fall for their best friend?

Seungmin watched how Hyunjin's eyes light up mischievously while wearing that bright eye-smile of his as he typed away and he couldn't help but to stare.
