Chapter 6

I went to the building that I know ava would be in. It was the only building I was still standing. i saw Thomas putting a gun right at ava. thomas looked over and saw I was alive. I pointed my gun at her too, "You almost killed the man I love and, you almost killed me. I'm not letting hurt anybody else." I said, "Thomas can save us all." Ava said. thomas was a pound to pull the trigger but he hesitated. he dropped the gun. sobbing softly. I pointed my gun down, "It's okay." She said quietly and softly, "Just leave the others alone." He asked her, "I promise." She said. If I was going to say something when a gun shot off. She was still trying to speak but fell to the ground. It was janson who shot her. He tried to hit us but we moved too fast. I felt something stick my neck. I realized it was a drug and next thing I knew I was knocked out

I woke up and saw that I was in a bed and when I looked to my left I saw thomas. our bodies we're pinned to the bed. teresa was taking thomas blood, "Do you know what this place is, thomas? it's a lifeboat. and the whole world might be sinking, but doesn't mean that we have to go down with it." Janson said looking at us. We tried Breaking Free but nothing was working, "Why don't just kill me and let her go." Thomas said, "Kill you? no, we don't wanna do that. we're gonna take special care of you both. we'll keep you and her alive." Janson said but didn't finish his sentence by Thomas trying to break free,

"And in return, you will give life to the rest of us. the ones we choose to save, anyway. of course, there's not gonna be enough for everyone. hard choices are gonna have to be made. In time, the flare virus will burn itself out. the only question is, who will be the one left standing? and thanks to you, to this, we finally get to choose. a future of our own making." Janson said. Janson rolled up his sleeve revealing that he was infected. He was about to inject himself with a serum until Teresa hit him over the head with a bottle. she tried getting thomas free but she only managed to get one arm. Ginseng came back up tossing her over the table

Janson grabbed her but she tried fighting back. Thomas was so close to breaking free. Janson grabbed her by her hair and slammed her head over the table. thomas got out tackling him and tossing him through glass window. I actually managed to get out myself. I ran over to Teresa to see if she was okay. she was breathing but she was just knocked out. I ran out and saw that Janson was choking thomas. I jumped up on top of Janson crossing my legs and he started choking. It gave thomas a chance to break free. Janson knocked me off but I got right back up again and punched him, "Come on." He said. I gave him a smirk. I ran and jumped on his back again and flipped my body under his legs with my legs still across his neck as he fall on the floor. I pulled on his right arm has he was screaming for mercy. as much as It hurt i still did it. let Go. thomas picked him up and punch the living crap out of him. janson punched thomas. causing him to fall to the floor. I tried getting janson but he did the same to me, "All right. that's enough." Janson said pointing his gun at thomas. I told teresa to get behind me. An explosion came out of nowhere knocking Janson out.

That was an opportunity to get away before the building collapses. Janson was trying to shoot teresa but Thomas moved me and Theresa out of the way. I push them into a room that we would be safe for a few minutes, "We need to get out of here." I said. I looked at Thomas again and realize the janson shot him. I helped him sit on the ground. he showed us the bullet sitting right in his stomach. teresa found something to stop the bleeding, "Just put pressure on it. hold it." Teresa said, "You both have to go." Thomas told us, "No! we're not leaving you thomas." I said helping him put pressure on the wound. Janson came in. I pushed him out of the way so janson wouldn't be able to see him or us, "I admit, teresa, you had me fooled. I thought we were friends." Janson said trying to find us, "Maybe it's just in your nature to betray the people closest to you." Janson said. Janson just walked past us but didn't see us. he almost shot Teresa but she managed to not get it, "Thomas. teresa. Y/N."
