Chapter 6

I saw brenda and had an idea, "BRENDA THROW IT!" I yelled. she threw the serum and the syringe. I managed to catch it. thomas held him down. I poured the serum inside of a syringe, "Thomas. let him go." I said angry but I am ready for what I'm about to do. newt ran up to me with the knife. next thing I knew. we were holding each other but. I stabbed him with the serum and he stabbed me with the knife. I pulled away. I pushed the knife deeper into me. I looked into his eyes and saw it was him. "Newt." I said and smiled.

Newt's POV

She said my name and smiled, "No. no. NO!" I screamed as her body fall in my arms, "I told you.......yo-you were gonna make it." she said coughing up blood. I could feel like apart of me just died, "WHERE'S THE SECOND BOTTLE!?" I screamed. brenda checked her popockets, "I-I-I must have dropped it." She said crying. I still couldn't really control my anger, "Damn it.........DAMN ITTTT!!!!" I yelled, "Newt. it's okay. I told thomas to promise that you would get it before me." She said, "But why? Just way?." I said crying, "Because. I love you. and you deserve everything and better. it's been an amazing adventure." She said but started coughing, "Fry. thanks for having my back and being a brother to me." She says. fry started crying, "minho. thank you for being a. brother to me as well and making l-l-l-l-laugh." She said crying, "Br-brenda. thanks for being a sister to me. your a true badass." Y/N said, "Thomas. t-t-thank you. please don't cry over me. you will always be a brother to me." She said looking at him, "G-g-gally. Thank you. even though I haven't known you long e-e-enough but I still see you as family. you've changed. and that's good. just know that chuck wouldn't want you to feel that w-w-way." She managed to say, "T-T-Tell aris and sonya and Harriet, that I love them and that I'm sorry." She said crying still,

"And last b-but not least. newt. thank you for being the love of my life. thank you for showing me what it's like to be loved. p-pr-protect your family. you'll find someone better than me-" I cut her off, "No...no I won't. I need you Y/N." I said sobbing. she caressed my cheek, "You'll f-find someone better newt. just take care of everyone.....please." She bagged me, "O-okay." I said. she looked at everyone one last time before her eyes closed shut, "NOOO!" I screamed holding her body. thomas tried to get me to let go but I didn't, "Newt, stay here. i gotta stop ava." Thomas said and he ran off crying. how could I let this happen? she didn't deserve ANY of this, "I'm sorry, newt." Gally said, ".... Don't be. it's my fault she's was bitten." I said. I laid her body down and stood up, "NEWT!" minho yelled from a far. look at him, "I found it!" He said. I took and kneeled down. I poured the serum down her throat. minho wrapped something around her waist so she won't bleed out but she wasn't responding, "Come on, Y/N." I said hoping she could hear me. but nothing happened,

"She's gone....she's not coming back." I said the one thing I'd never thought I'd say. I let go of her body again and walked off feeling empty again.

I heard gasping for air. I turned around and saw that it was her breathing, "Y/N!" I said holding her. she started breathing, "H-how?" She said still trying to get air, "Minho found the second bottle." I said crying tears of joy. she looked at her hand and saw that her skin looked normal. she was in pain from being stabbed. I kissed her, "Where's thomas!?" she said scared, "He went after Ava." I told, "I have to go after him." She said trying to stand up but I helped her, "No, Y/N, you can't! I'm not losing you again. plus, your hurt! you could bleed out!" I said. she cupped my face, "I'm gonna be okay I swear." She said with her e/c eyes. I told her go and she did so,

Y/N's POV

"Just stay here. I will be back. brenda pass me your walkie." I said as she passed it to me, "Good know you're okay." She said relieved, "It's good to be alive." I said as I ran off in pain.
