In this world, there was no other than good or bad. There's nothing in the middle, after all, you can't serve two masters at once. It was your choice to choose what you want, to be who you are, to state the real meaning of freedom.

There was only right or wrong, maybe or both cannot be accepted by the society and judgement of the higher ups. It only means one thing, to choose from one of those choices. To mold yourself in the kind of person who you want to be and who you want to side with.

Or can you? Frankly, I'm not the one to judge.

"Okogi Yuzu, the chief is calling you." I heard a female's voice suddenly draw me out of my pool of thoughts. I sighed through my nostrils before I turned around to meet those familiar hazel orbs.

"Geez... stop calling me like that," I said before groaning then smiling at the brunette in front of me. She snickered then raised a brow, "You coming or what?"

"Yeah, yeah, be right there." The laziness in my voice was obvious but honestly, I've been waiting for this, I know it has to be it. And you know what it is? Yeah, the last meeting of the day which means I get to get some rest after a stressful week, woohoo!

Oh, and by the way, let me introduce to you my bestest friend in the whole universe, Taniguchi Harumi. We've been together since we were 16, but that was like nine years ago. Now we've grown up to become the so-called protectors of our land. Well, sounds great and all but honestly it's not like I could change my path and plus, this one is better than the other options.

As I mentioned earlier, there's only two things in here. Good and bad. In other words, you can choose to be the hero or the villain of your nation. Easy, right? Well, no, not entirely.

You can't just be a hero or a villain because you want to, usually, it runs in the family. If your family has been in the side of justice or if you are born with parents who taught you like that, then you're automatically a hero. But if you're born in a family of villains, then the chance of you siding with them is incredibly high. Though, there is a small population of... well... neutrals. The neutrals or outcasts are the ones who didn't want to pick any side, causing them to be disregarded by the society. Neutrals are usually seen in squatters for they aren't even given a good lifestyle by the government whatsoever.

So is it really freedom? I don't think so.

I then sighed once more as my mind's gears started to get excited all on their own.

"Yuzucchi?" Harumin, who was beside walking with me, sounded confused yet concered at the same time. I'm not quite sure what expression she had for I only kept my eyes stuck into the ground as we were walking side by side. "Yuzucchi!" She repeated.

I had no choice but to slowly and slightly raise my head, my eyes travelling upwards till I saw my bestie's face. She looked stuck and perplexed. She probably started to list down things that might bother me in her head, because I know her and her weird ways.

I gave her a small grin, "Don't worry, nothing's bothering me." I said just to reassure her.

She raised a brow at me, "Hm, what were you thinking about then?" Asking that the moment her hand touched the door.

"Nothing much," Was my answer before we took a step inside the huge room with white complexion. It was extemely spacious, had a long oval-shaped table in the middle, and a large screen. Honestly, no matter how many times I enter this meeting room or some sort, I can't help but glance at every corner of it since it was really amazing.
