Different Kind of Affection? (Part 1)

A little peek in a cutie brunette's head :3

It was another school day, a brunette was making her way to a particualar person in the crowd. The one with blonde hair and emerald eyes that always seemed to be noticable named Yuzu was startled as soon as someone tapped her shoulders. Turning her head to see the person who did that, her face instantly lightened up.

"Harumin!" She exclaimed, grinning wide. "Yo, Yuzucchi!" Harumi greeted back, suddenly being tackled into a tight hug from the blonde in front of her. The blonde pulled away shortly and gave a quick grin to Harumin which made the brunette's lips curl into a smile as well.

Harumi extended her arm and swiftly placed it over Yuzu's shoulders, "Say, why don't we go out together later?" she asked, showing a couple of coupons from her boobs. Yuzu's green eyes glistened from astonishment and nodded, "I'd love that!" Noticing Yuzu's excitement, the brunette couldn't help but melt.

"Ah, we should get going to class now," Yuzu snapped back to reality and rubbed the back of her head. "Right," Harumi nodded, her hazel orbs were looking into the blonde's pair of emerald green eyes. "Let's go." the brunette added and started to walk as Yuzu walked beside her, creating some small talks.

When they both entered the classroom they were glad the teacher wasn't there yet or else they'll really recieve some detention. Harumi already sat down on her seat but her gaze was averted to Yuzu when the blonde was obviously spacing out. The brunette was quite puzzled so her eyes followed Yuzu's gaze. Of course, she was looking at her younger step-sister, Mei.

Sighing, Harumi can't help but smile and then wave her hand over Yuzu's face. FInally catching the blonde's attention she asked, "You spacin' out again?" Yuzu suddenly came back to her senses, realizing that the teacher will come soon. "Sorry Harumin, I was just thinkin' 'bout something," She laughed in an akward manner, immediately sitting down as soon as the brunette sat down.

"Thinking about Mei again?" Harumi asked, pointing to the stone-faced girl. Yuzu's cheeks flushed and she slowly nodded, "Y-Yeah.. sorry," She mumbled as she laid her head down, refusing to look at Harumi because she felt her cheeks burning up. Harumi giggled and ruffled the blonde's hair and tried not to mess it up so much. "Geez, there's nothing to be apologizing for!" 

Yuzu paused for a couple of moments before she lifted her head up, still blushing, "R-Right.. We better prepare for Math." She stated, obviously trying to change the subject. She knew that she'll be even more distracted when she thinks about Mei too much.

The brunette just chuckled and readjusted herself, her head now facing the board. 'Cute', she thought.

 ♪  ~ A few hours later ; on dismissal ~   ♪

"Ah~" A satisfied sigh came out of the blonde's mouth as she stretched her arms above her head. "Classes finally ended, thank God!" Yuzu said with relief and content in her tone of voice. The brunette snickered, "Exactly," grabbing her bag and placing it over her shoulder. 

Yuzu sat up and took her bag as well, "Why don't we go to the restaurant now?" She eagerly asked, a grin showing off from her face now. Harumi enthusiastically nodded and took a step close to Yuzu with a grin plastered on her face as well.

When the duo was about to leave the main entrance of the school, a voice suddenly called out to Yuzu. 

"Yuzu," The voice started and made Yuzu turn her head to which Harumi followed. "You dropped this." A girl with an aloof face stated, her dark purple eyes looked so mesmerizing yet cold. Immediately knowing who it was, the blonde's green eyes widened in surprise and in delight, "Mei!" Yuzu exclaimed. 

Mei still looked so cold, maybe colder than ice as she extended her arm to give Yuzu the item she dropped. "Here, be careful next time." She said and turned her foot to leave but was stopped when she felt a hand grip onto her arm. 

"W-Wait Mei," Yuzu said and paused for a while, making Mei become confused. "Thanks." She finally said after a while and grinned sheepishly. Mei stared at her for a short while before nodding, "You're welcome." And with that, the younger girl walked away.

Harumi - the one who watched on the sidelines - just kept quiet. As soon as Mei left, she felt her heart become less heavier and a small smile escaped for her lips as the tension finally flew away. "Hey, Yuzucchi," She called out to Yuzu and placed a hand over the blonde's shoulder before looking at her face. "Let's go now?" 

Yuzu slowly turned her head to Harumi, her lips lightly parted away, her eyes wide and big while her cheeks were flushed. "H-Harumin.." She mumbled so quietly it sounded like a whisper. The blonde looked into the brunette's hazel eyes, her green orbs wavering. 

'Ah,' Harumi thought to herself when she instantly understood what that look meant. Yuzu was embarrassed and unsure how to act. Her heart was thumping hard, admiring every little thing about the noirette. 

The brunette stayed silent for a little while, staring at the blonde's eyes glistening. Harumi felt her heart throb for some unknown reason, her hazel eyes showing mixed hidden emotions that she couldn't understand herself and it reflected worrisome the most. The brunette felt her heart beat again, for some reason she had this desire to hug Yuzu so tight to the point where she didn't want to let go. She didn't want to see Yuzu become so... head over heels for Mei. She didn't know why she felt this unknown feeling. 'This..' Harumi thought to herself, gulping, 'Is this..' She felt her hand loosen it's grip on Yuzu's shoulder, 'Jealousy..?' 

Sighing, the brunette ended up patting Yuzu's head. "There, there Yuzucchi, it's alright." She smiled reassuringly. The blonde's eyes got teary, "Ahhh!!" She cried out, tackling Harumi into a tight hug, her head into her boobs. "Harumin~!" Yuzu made a cute pouty face as she lifted her head up to make eye contact with the brunette. Harumi grinned and patted Yuzu's blonde hair then hugged her back as well, "Harumin-mom thinks that you did well, Yuzucchi." She tried to cheer up Yuzu, her smile still bright as usual.

"Cmon, we better go to the restaurant fast before the sun goes down!" The brunette exclaimed as she released herself from the hug, her hand now on Yuzu's. "Right..!" Yuzu nodded, her worries starting to fade away and was replaced with her usual bubbly self, her lips curling into a smile. Harumi noticed this and took on the lead, her feet started to run on its own free will. The blonde was quite surprised at first but tried her best to follow the brunette's pace, her excitement growing every step she makes.

'Don't worry Yuzucchi, you can forget Ms. Student Council President,' The brunette thought to herself, 'For now, I'll help you feel better.' Harumi once again felt her heart throb, but this time, if felt heavy and painful.

Alright, that was it-

for now, atleast xD I'm planning to add more into it. Tbh, at first I never even thought of HaruYuzu existing??? Not until Nene came in and I was like 'ohhhhhhhhhh' though I wasn't that conviced lmao- 

I started to see it as a ship when chapter 34 happened xD

So now, if YuzuMei/MeiYuzu doesn't work HaruYuzu/Matsuri x Yuzu can happen (Imma call Yutsuri xDDDDDD but I do kinda ship them) tho I ship Hatsuri/Marumi(huehuehuehue---) more.

The reason why I did this chapter is because I'm now pissed at Mei. More pissed than the first or second episode. Like, what, you did this for Yuzu's sake? As if, you just followed what your grandfather wanted you to. Really Mei, I can kind of relate to you - I am a coward as well - but still, think about Yuzu. She loves you a lot :<
