I led the way downstairs and then sat down and cuddled next to Nate’s side.
“I love you,” he said kissing the top of my head.
“I love you, too,” I said before I surprisingly fell asleep.

“What time do you want to go to dinner,” I asked Kate while we were watching
Bones on Netflix. We had switched from Lifetime when we noticed that the
movies were starting to repeat themselves.
“What time is it,” she asked rubbing her eyes.
“Five,” I answered.
“Okay, I’ll go get ready to go,” she said before standing up and going upstairs.
“Where’s she going,” Nate asked me.
“She’s going to go get ready for our date,” I grinned.
“I got to go to the bathroom,” Brittney said standing up.
“TMI,” Nate said imitating a girly voice and we all cracked up laughing.
“What’s so funny,” Kate’s mom asked as she walked into the living room. Nate
explained, between bursts of laughter, what was funny.
“It was freaking hilarious,” I summed up.
“You know I’m pregnant but I’ll still kick your butts,” Brittney glared at us when
walked into the room. She grabbed two pillows off the couch and chucked them
at us.
“Mom,” Kate yelled from upstairs.
“Come on, Brittney,” Kate’s mom said to Brittney while she went to start going
up the stairs.
“You two are lucky, very lucky,” Brittney said before she went upstairs.
“Dud, she’s kind of scary,” I laughed.
“Oh, it’s bad now but I know that it’s going to get ten times worse,” Nate
muttered rubbing the back of his neck.
“Look on the bright side,” I said.
“What’s the bright side,” Nate asked when I didn’t continue.
“You’ll get a mini you, duh,” I told him.
“Yeah, that’s true,” he sighed.
“What’s your problem,” I asked him.
“Just tired, I suppose,” he answered around a yawn.
“Well, that’s understandable,” I said with a small laugh.
“Yeah,” he sighed. “Brittney has the worse end of it, though.”
“Yeah, she does,” I said.
After that the room fell into kind of an awkward silence.
