Everyday for a month she saw the mysterious guy in the hall and never knew his name. She asked some of the people she sat next to in class but no one knew who she was talking about. One day after school she went to the beach as usual . she walked along the sand watching the sun set and thinking about him. when she noticed a group of guys. she ignored them and kept walking when she heard
"hey you" one said
she turned around to see the mysterious guy from the halls standing there looking right at her. she shut down for a moment and then said
"yeah"he smirked, his low voice raspy but soft.
"do I know you" he said she shook her head and looked down. he stepped closer to her and she felt a shiver down her spine he continued
"why do you look so familiar?"
She replied "the halls at parkway high school."
he chuckled and said "oh yah"
she smiled the one person she wanted to notice her did. he shooed his friends away and they began walking
he said "I'm miles by the way"
They walked up and down the beach until it was almost completely dark. He asked if she needed a ride home she told him she didn't live too far and walks there all the time. he offered to walk her home. She couldn't resist so they started walking to her house when they got there
she said "I'm Emily by the way"
and went inside. She got home and couldn't believe that just happened. when she heard the door open she knew the happiness of that afternoon was over.
