Multiplying 2-Digit Number By 11

Example: 12 x 11

Step 1-- Leave a space between the both digits of the multiplicand (12)

Step 2--Add both digits of the multiplicand.

1+2=3

Step 3--Place the result in the blank.

132

So the answer is 132 (^_^)

Example #2: 37 x 11

If the sum is equal to 10 or more, do this:

Do Step 1 and Step 2~

#1--3_7

#2--3+7=10

Step 3-- Add the tens digit of the result in Step 2 to the first digit of the result in Step 1.

3+1=4

So~

4_7

Step 4-- Place the ones digit of the result in Step 2 to the blank.

407

So the answer is 407 (^_^)
