"Nope! The youngest is 4."
As I hear a loud beep from the other line I pull the phone away from my ear to see Raven's name scroll on the screen.
"Hey!! Can I call you right back? I think it's urgent on the other line."
"Yeah sure sweetheart. I'll be here!"
"Okay..we'll..I love you," I say with a downward smile.
"I love you too." I quickly hang up to click over.
"Hello?! You okay?" I say lightly panicking.
"How far are you?"
"I'm like 25 minutes out! Why are you okay? You need anything? I can turn around!"
A light chuckle comes through the mic to my ears before she replies. "I'm fine! I just think I left my pocket wallet in your glove compartment. And if so just take a picture of my Social and I.D. then send it to me. I can order all the other stuff offline."
I quickly look in the right lane before pulling over. "Uhhhh...hold on." The loud shift gear pops as I put it in park before checking my glove compartment. I swiftly start moving junk around to find the wallet. "What color is it?"
"It should be a black Coach one. I could've sworn I put it in you—" Silence hits the phone line before I hear shuffling on her end.
I lean back in my seat with a confused look. "You good?"
"NOOO NOOO NOOO NOOOO!!! Girl!!! I think I dropped it!"
"DROPPED IT?! Girl!!! It could be anywhere in the mall or in the parking garage! You may have to call pretty much every company you have inside that wallet!! Especially for your social!!"
"Ughhh!! Just when I thought I could relax I'm in panic mode aga—"
"Hold on" I interrupt as I lean over to see the bottom of her wallet on the floor in between the seat and the door. I take my seat belt off and stretch for dear life reaching to grab it as my stomach squishes on the gear switch. "Aghhhh! GOT IT!" I yell.
Raven sighs in relief before asking "where was it?"
"Girl on the floor. I'm on the way to bring it to you now."
"Bring it to me?! Aisha it's—"
"Girl un uh. After all that anxiety of feeling like you lost it I rather put it in your hand. I'll let you know when I'm close."
"Ugh alright! I'll give you gas if you need it."
"Keep your money. BYE"
She smacks her lips before hanging up.
I'll be honest...I am beat! I just want to lay down and relax. I quickly make a phone call to Riley's dad letting him know that she will have to spend the night. Arrangements go as they always go..extra complicated but it worked out in my favor. Hopefully Raven's sister will let me stay tonight. If not I will definitely be getting a room. Four hours back home just is not what I'm trying to do. I'll be honest again and say that if I get to stay the night I really want to see why she keeps running. Why would anyone want to stay in a relationship with a loon-a-tick and his psycho pal and not even report them. I watch too many ID channel shows to know you gotta play crazy to get out. Raven is too smart for this and she deserves so much better in her life!! She has worked too hard for her to just throw her entire life away for them...and to be real I won't be a real friend if I don't say anything.

"THANK YOU!!" Raven says as her words chop up jogging down her sisters steep driveway.
"Of course!" I say handing her the pocket wallet. She clearly can see the tired body language I'm giving as my head is leaning slightly sluggish out the window.
