"If I had an idea would you..you know..be down to try?"

Raven quickly turns my way giving me a suspicious look. "It depends."

"Okay hear me out..what if we plan a way to expose them.. In a way that it will put their fathers' job in jeopardy too. I'm almost sure that if anything they would choose their jobs and reputation over their children. It's one thing to cover them up and no one knows but if everyone is gonna find out about their children and what they have done... They would have NO choice but to make their children pay for their consequences."

Silence hits the air but I can tell she is in deep thought. Her right hand strokes her bottom lip as she looks down at the carpet below my feet. Anxiety begins to flood through my veins as my left leg starts to shake in nervousness.

"What's the plan?" She says tilting her head to the side scrunching her eyebrows deeply. I let out a huge smile before telling her my master plan. Two hours of plans and strategies start to overflow between us. Freedom is right in front of her. By the look in her eyes she can taste it.

The vibration and loud tone from my phone startles me waking me out of my sleep. Leaning up just my head, I stare at my phone in a shock before slamming my index finger on the orange stop button. Slowly, I try to close my eyes back for a few more minutes but the thought of me having to pick my daughter up in exactly four hours made my eyes bust right back open. "AGH!"

Raven gasps at my shout before rolling over to look at me from the bottom of the king sized bed. We clearly passed out considering our clothes. My grandmother is rolling over in her grave at these outside clothes on a fresh bed. "Yh ...you good?" Raven says squinting her eyes in a raspy voice still looking up at me.

"Yeah." I say leaning with both hands on the side of the bed for balance as I put my Nike slides on. "I gotta go. Briggs needs me to get Riley."

"Oh snap. Alright. So..wait. Okay. So—"

"I'll call you once I get her. I'll stop to get the watches and we can go from there, okay?"

Raven nods half sleep before plopping her head back down.

This cat nap was needed but I am definitely dreading this 4AM drive back. Being a mother and this plan are literally the only two things motivating me right now.

Getting in my car I grab my phone out my back pocket and dial my child's fathers number hoping he will answer.

"Yo?"

"Hey I'm on the way."

"Alright. Just let me know when you are close and I'll bring her outside."

"K." I toss my phone in the cup holder before snapping my seat belt across my chest. Carefully, I start backing out the steep drive way. I can feel my anxiety slowly building again.

The plan is genius, but risky. I'm willing to risk it for my friend though to be honest. She can't do this alone. I'm just thankful that through this there is no way to track us. So we are guaranteed to be safe no matter what happens.

"Hello?"

"Hey I'm pulling in your neighborhood now."

"Bet." The line hangs up. As I make a sharp left turn at the last minute, the wheel slightly jerks the opposite direction. Me holding my phone on four fingers and using my thumb as support to turn the wheel wasn't much of a smart move. I shortly pull into the driveway to see Riley's legs dangling over her fathers chest as she is still sleep on his shoulder. Leaning over behind me, I open the car door to let him put her in the car seat undisturbed. The last car strap snap to her seat caused her eyes to open exposing her blood shot red eyes from a deep sleep.
