Author Ji' s POV

"Y/N! Y/N! wake up sleepy head!! we're gonna be late for training" Minho exclaimed worriedly as he gently shook the sleeping girl's shoulder to wake her up

"no.. 5 more minutes" she mumbled as she was still sleepy and wasnt in the mood to get up

Minho pouted as he bloated his cheeks a little bit annoyed with Y/N's laziness but had a brilliant idea

"If you dont get up now, i will kiss you Y/N" Minho knew Y/N wanted to save her first kiss with her crush Felix so he really thought it would work, but sadly Y/N was too sleepy to even hear his threat

"wow Y/N! you want me to kiss you? okay then" he planned to just hover over her to let her think he was gonna kiss her so he did what he planned which made Y/N open her eyes startled

"YAH YOU PABO! GET OFF!" she exclaimed as she tried to push him away but Minho was too strong for Y/N especially since she just woke up

"i thought you want me to kiss you?" Minho teased as he saw Y/N eyes widen

"AISH N-NO! IM AWAKE, IM AWAKE DAMN IT" she objected as she tried to free herself form Minho's arms but he placed both of his hands on both of her sides, trapping her

"no take backs Y/N" it was hard for him not to laugh with his acting as he closed his eyes and leaned closer to Y/N acting like he was about to kiss her

he expected Y/N to scream like "Noooo my first kiss!!" "Noooo felix i betrayed you" or something she normally say when he joked about kissing her but he was startled when she was silent which made him puzzled

he scoffed and pulled away

"Just a joke Y/N GEEZ! im your best friend" Minhi tried to laugh it off but he didnt hear a word form Y/n

he saw Y/N and saw her actually bright red and flustered which made him more confused

"Y/N why are you red? do you have a fever?" he asked worriedly as he placed the back of his hand onto Y/N'S forehead

but Y/N pushed his hand back which made him look at her with concern

"im fine.. ill just get ready now" she stood up and ran to the bathroom and left minho there confused what just happened

few weeks later

after that incident, Y/N always seem quiet and minho think shes avoiding him since she mostly spends time with felix and the others

"i wonder if theyre dating now" minho asked himself curious with Y/N's life since she doesnt really talk with him anymore

"hey minho?" he was startled when someone called out to him but as he faced the voice he saw it was Jinae, a girl he actually has a small crush on

"ah! hey jinae? whats up?" he tried to sound casual even if hes really freaking out deep inside

"can we go to the garden?" she requested and minho agreed as they both walked to the garden

AT THE GARDEN

jinae faced minho with a troubled expression on her face which made minho wonder

"jinae? something wrong" he asked concerned and jinae coughed before she looked up at minho

"I-I Like you" she stuttered and minho smiled happily before giving her a warm hug

"i like you too!" he exclaimed but he didnt know.. someone else was watching the happy confession

Y/N's POV

"thanks felix, it really means a lot, im sorry though..." i looked at felix apologetically but he only gave me a smile and ruffle my hair

"nah its okay, i know you liked Minho for a long time, i knew i had no chance" i pouted and gave him a hug which he returned warmly

"you'll find someone, i have a friend that you might like! ill set two up! orr do you prefer changbin oppa more?" i joked and he scoffed

"shush you" we both laughed and was entering the garden but my heart dropped when i heard these words from a person i knew too well

"i like you too" tears brim my eyes as i saw minho hugging with jinae under the tree and i knew he accepted her confession

felix looked at me worriedly but i dashed out before he could stop me and just ran to a random room and cried

"is this what it feels like to hide a secret.. i wish i told you sooner.. i loved you for so long but you didnt feel the same way.. now youre happy with her"

and thats the burden of a best friend's secret..

It hurts... that he only loves you as a sister, but it hurts even more when you cant tell him what you feel because he is in love with someone else..
