Ellie
One thing I like about this house is that the view of sunset is very beautiful. The sky merges in different colours thus giving an effect of a painting. Maybe I would paint it someday. In case you don't know, I love to paint too.
I always loved sunsets. My father and I would always go up to the roof to witness one, but the activity died down when he died. I actually miss him, as he treated me like a princess.
The moon said hello and that stupid red head was still here, and I being me am hungry. I had taken a bath before and now I was wearing a grey top and sweatpants. The only difference was that my hair were untied and they were falling on my shoulders in loose curls.
I went downstairs and saw both the players making out on the couch. I went to the kitchen and to grab something to eat when the red head looked at me. She instantly pulled away from Kyler and slapped him hard across the face. There was a loud noise of a THUD, and I was trying to compress my laugh. The look on Kyler's face was priceless.
"WHO THE HELL IS SHE?!"she said pointing towards me and then I recognized her.......Adriana?
Just joking, it was Vanessa, one of our school's dumb cheerleader.
"She's-"but before Kyler could say anything, she slapped him again.
"I hate you, you cheating bastard. I actually liked you and this is how you play me. You cheat on me with that damn NERDY ELLIE!?"she was screaming.
"How dare you call me NERDY?"I spat, and instantly regretted.
"You shut up,"she said and tried to leave the house, but Kyler caught her wrist. He is so.......stupid. If a girl wants to leave, let her leave.
"LET GO OF ME!"she screamed and Kyler obeyed.
"It's not what it looks like!"he yelled.
"IT'S NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE,"he said aggressively but Vanessa had already left.
"How dare you?"he said first in a polite manner.
"I was hungry,"I stated.
"I REALLY LIKED HER. YOU ARE SO DUMB. I HATE YOU, YOU ARE A WITCH. HOW CAN YOU DO THAT AND COME UP WITH A STUPID EXCUSE. YOU ARE A CURSE YOU JUST STEP INTO EVERYONE'S LIFE AND RUIN IT . THAT'S WHY EVERYONE HATES YOU. YOU SHOULD LEAVE. THE WORLD WOULD BE A BETTER PLACE. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH I LOVED HER. I HAVE LOVED EVER SINCE I WAS IN 5TH GRADE AND WHEN I GOT THE CHANCE, YOU CAME ALONG. YOU ARE JUST SOME RANDOM TRASH THAT DECIDED TO POP INTO MY LIFE AND MAKE IT A MESS. GET LOST!"He yelled at the top of his lungs.
Tears were streaming down my face like a waterfall.
"You are right. I am a curse, and I promise you won't have to see my face ever again. I promise. I am leaving,"and with that I left.
Everything about what he had said was roaming around my head.
It reminded me of him of Jeremy.
Flashback
"You are a witch. How dare you go and kiss with him. I knew you were trouble I knew you were a curse I should've never trusted you, Rose, never"he said and slammed my head into the wall.
"What are you talking about?"I asked, but he slapped me hard.
"I loved you, Rose, how can you do this to me. HOW CAN YOU DO THIS TO ME!"he said as he pushed me and I collapsed on the floor utterly terrified .
Anyways, they were the exact words Kyler had said, at least at that time I had dad to comfort me he chased Jeremy and beat him but now I have no one. Mom was engrossed in her job. Adriana is just a lovesick puppy, and I am all alone.
But sometimes you have to fight battles alone. Although this wasn't a battle this was pain, and pain eats up a person from the inside. Sometimes you have to be brave enough to fight the problems, because no one on this planet can help you except yourself.
"Ellie wait!"I heard Kyler call out.
I ran.
Ran as fast as my legs could take me.
Although I had no idea where I was going I still ran.
Then I realized I was in a very quiet place. It was isolated. There were houses but there was no one living there. There was a park which had a lake and I made a stupid decision and decided to walk there.
There was a beautiful lake and because of the moonlight, it seemed like someone had sprinkled silvery glitter on the water. I sat on the shore and cried my eyes out. Just then, my phone rang. Yes, my phone was in my pocket this whole time. I just love my phone so much that I cannot live without it.
It was a text message.
Unknown Number: You look beautiful tonight Rose.
