" you're just hungry ha ha let's eat! " i said trying to change the topic

we went back to sit at the mat where the food was located

" i'll only eat if you feed me "

" then starve " i said sarcastically

i busied myself by eating until i realized thay he really wasn't eating.

" hey i was just joking! eat something "

" i wasn't joking either "

" uh whatever. just starve to death "

he still wasn't eating, and i noticed that he was smiling and then laughing at something in his phone

" what's that? " i asked

he showed me the pic he took from earlier and i looked so dumb

" you look so cute here, and hey, idk if it's the sunset but you look so red here HAHAHAHA "

i tried to reach for his phone but i failed at every attempt that i made.

i was desperate to delete that picture from his phone, that i didn't realize how close our faces were.

it felt as if time stopped at that moment, and we stared at each other.

i followed his eyes, which were on my lips, and i saw a smirk form across his lips.

he covered my lips with his palm and kissed the back of his hand

my voice almost cracked when i said that
