Outside of the recommendations on your home page (which are based on the stories you've added to your library, voted on, etc.), you can find more specific stories to read by using "browse" (for categories like horror, fantasy, or vampire) or "search."
Search is a great tool when you have something very specific in mind that you want to read. Maybe it's a specific story that a friend recommended, or a specific tag that you want to explore.
If you're using the iOS or Android app, you can find the search option by tapping the magnifying glass in the top right hand corner of your screen (you can see it on either your "home" or "library" page).

This will pull up the search bar, and below it will you'll see either "popular searches" (which you can select) or your previous search history (which you can clear by swiping left and clicking on the blue garbage can icon).

Alternatively, on the website, the search bar is clearly visible at the top of your screen directly under the address bar.

Once you've accessed the search feature, you have a few choices. You can type in a story title or a username, and you'll see the results with the closest match.
You can also search for stories that fit a specific keyword. If you search "Harry Styles", for example, you will see results for stories with Harry Styles in the title. If you search for #dragon, with the hashtag before the keyword, you will see stories that have been tagged "dragon" regardless of the story's title.
On mobile and the web, you can also filter your results by length (re: the number of parts in a story), how recently stories were updated, and whether stories are complete or include a mature rating. On the web, these options appear if you select the "filter" option under your search results.

In either case, the filter options only appear after you've hit "search".
On mobile, your search results are also organized by type. There's stories, profiles, reading lists (that match your keyword), and a list of related rags.

On both mobile and web, you can also refine your search results by adding more keywords or tags, either by selecting the suggested words or by adding your own to the search bar and searching again.
