Part 4: The Side Effect

Last time:
Shinichi's classroom had new classmate that is revealed to be Shiho Miyano. Things are getting out of hand now that Shiho told shinichi that something is not right.

Present time...

Shinichi looks shock that he didn't say anything... Or can't make a word.

Ran is the one who break the silent "What do you mean, Shiho-chan?" Ran ask worried

"As I said, kudo-kun is not yet safe"

At last Shinichi ask
"What do you mean by that?"

Shiho look start at shinichi's eyes and said "there is possible side effects that I didn't see earlier while making the antidote"

Shiho look away "the first check up that we, hakase, do to you are all normal but... The last check up, we see something that is not normal"

"What is it, miyano?"

Ran, sonoko and Shinichi look directly on shiho's eyes

"I'm sorry, kudo-kun..."

Shiho looks at shinichi's eyes, again "But things can't go back to normal"

Ran and sonoko are still confused but Shiho see in shinichi's eyes that he knows something

"It's about my health, right?"

"What do you mean, Shinichi?"

Suddenly, a person, that Shinichi recognize as their classmate, calls ran and sonoko.

"Ran! Sonoko! The teacher said that she wanted to talk to you, two"
"What is it about?"
"I think it is about your project that you both made, ran"

Sonoko looks at Ran and said "oh no, ran! I think she see that thing"
"What thing?" Ran ask in confused
"The thing that we can't find while making that project!" Sonoko said with a blush

That makes Shinichi and Shiho wander what is that 'thing' is

Ran realization make them both suddenly stand up and bid their goodbye, quickly.

"What is that 'thing' they're talking about?" Shiho ask
"I don't know, but if sonoko blush like that, it is definitely had connection with her boyfriend" Shinichi answered.

And suddenly, it strikes, Shinichi and Shiho, to know that they are alone.

Shinichi cleared his throat and looks at shiho's eyes and said

"Now, tell me everything, Miyano"
"I told you already, kudo-kun... There is now limits on all of the things that you do"

Shinichi looks at shiho's eyes seriously

"I know their is something that you don't want to tell me"
"........"
"Please, Miyano, just tell me"

Shiho looks at shinichi's eyes and then sigh.

"I can't explain everything in here"
"Then?"
"Come to the lab, tonight. I'll explain it to you"
"Yes!"

Shinichi's face brighten with a smile as he try to hug Shiho but sadly failed because Shiho suddenly stand

"You're becoming more different than usual, kudo-kun"

"Oh please, Shiho-chan, I am the same as usual" with a smirk

"Don't you dare repeat that nickname from your mouth" annoyed

Shinichi laugh and said
"I can't believe you let ran call you that, Shiho-chan"

Shiho started walking without looking back if Shinichi is following her

'I swear, you'll be the death of me, shinichi'

Shiho thought with a smile in her face
