Kat unlocked the metal door to her loft apartment and slammed her bag on her bed. She sprinted to the mirror in the bathroom and stared at the running mascara on her damp cheeks. Why was it so awkward? She'd always tell Will everything. EVERYTHING. But she couldn't tell him this.

She then jumped as she heard loud knocking on her front door.

Kat walked over and hovered her hands just inches above the lock. Please be anyone but Will, please be anyone but Will.

It was Will.

'Hey, you left the set pretty quickly today without talking, are you feeling alright?' he asked.

Kat was now feeling a sense of déjà vu. The scene they'd just finished filming had started off exactly like this. 'Actually, no, I'm not feeling okay. I think I might be coming down with something,' she whispered, between fake coughs.

He grinned, 'Well that's good we have a week until we film episode 18.'

'Yeah,' she laughed. And then stared at the roof, and folded her arms.

'Okay that's it,' he paused, 'I've seen you so sick that you've needed to go to the hospital, but even then there wasn't any tension between us. Was it because of that kiss?' He stared at her like he wasn't backing down. He wanted answers.

Kat sighed, 'Yes.'

Will's face suddenly became filled with shock and horror. He looked like he was going to be sick with embarrassment, 'Wait really? Was I that bad?'

'Oh, no it wasn't you. Sort of,' she stuttered.

He now looked confused, and his left eyebrow raised up, becoming taller than the other.

'You see, I don't know if you found it odd, but I was meant to pull away much earlier.'

Will laughed, 'Is this why you're upset? You do know they can crop it so it looks like you pulled away straight away.'

Kat sighed again, 'No, I mean, I should have pulled away. But I found myself enjoying it so much that I wanted to carry on.'

She didn't make eye contact with him after saying that sentence. In fact, she didn't even want to look at him afterwards. All she wanted to do was run away, but found herself frozen and etched to the ground.

'I-I thought I was the only one who felt that way,' Will smiled. Suddenly, Kat found herself looking up and staring straight into his soft blue eyes.

'I didn't want you to push me away, Kat.' He stepped closer, and now his chest was just a few centimetres away from hers. He could feel her warm breath on the front of his neck, and goosebumps formed on the sides.

In unison, they both went in to kiss each other. Will moved his mouth down to Kat's soft neck and pecked her gently, causing her to let out small sounds. He then returned to her lips, and without pulling away, he picked her up so that her legs were wrapped around his waist. Making his way to her bedroom, he softly lay her on the bed and leaned on top of her, with each hand next to each side of her shoulders. He lifted off her top that she hadn't changed out of yet, and placed kisses on her stomach.

'Oh, Will,' she moaned.

He smiled as heard his best friend call out his own name with such pleasure.

The next morning Kat opened her eyes and found that her cheeks were resting on a soft chest. She grinned, and all the memories from the night came back. Will was a good kisser, but they didn't go any further than that. She sat up and looked at his gorgeously sculpted face. His cheek bones were sharp and his lips were perfect.

'Enjoying what you're looking at?' whispered a voice out of those lips.

Kat blushed, 'I'm liking it very much.'

Will opened his eyes wide, sat up, and pulled her in for a passionate kiss. They kissed vigorously as she held his cheeks with her soft hands

'So, this doesn't make it awkward between us right? I mean, we're best friends and I don't want to ruin anything,' she asked.

'Of course not. We're still best friends, but now I can kiss your lips whenever I want,' he flirted.

'Does that mean you're asking me out?'

Will gave a light nod, and pulled her back in, wrapping the sheets over both of them.
