Immense Power; Entering the Hyperbolic Time Chamber

"Hyperbolic Time Chamber?" growled Vegeta. "What is that supposed to be?"

"It's a room that allows someone to train for a year while only a single day passes in the real world," responded Kami.

"So that's why you brought us here," responded Raditz. "You intend to train for a year in order to become stronger.

"That's such a stupid plan," said Vegeta annoyed. "Someone as week as you could train for five years and still be lucky to get as strong as Raditz."

It's true that training alone is less effective," admitted Goku. "that's why one of you should come and train with me.

"Like I would waste my time with such trivial nonsense," huffed Vegeta.

"Sorry Kaka but even if your room does allow you to train for a year it won't make much difference," Responded Raditz.

"So, are you still planning to go Goku?" asked Kami.

"Ya, even if they don't, believe me, I'm sure I will become strong enough to be of assistance. You sure you guys don't want to come?"

"Do whatever you want," said Vegeta with an annoyed tone.

Raditz just nodded.

"Ok then," responded Kami. "Popo can you go and get the Chamber ready for one.

"As you wish Kami," Responded Popo without leaving the building.

"Then I'll be on my way." Said Goku, "See you in a year."

Goku began walking towards the building but then stopped short.

"Vegeta can I ask you a favor?" requested Goku.

"What is it now," responded Vegeta, still annoyed.

"I want to see how strong you are."

"Why? To see how insignificant any of your poultry training is going to be. I am the Prince of all Saiyan. An elite Saiyan warrior."

Everyone just stared at his posturing.

"Fine whatever."

Vegeta took of his scouter and tossed it to Raditz. Vegeta cracked his knuckles and neck and toke his stance. Vegeta gritted his teeth as the ground beneath him started to shake. As a purplish aura started to swell around him is voice echoed through the tower. His power level was unbelievable. It far surpassed anything Goku had ever seen before. The tiles on the lookout began to crake at the unbelievable amount of power. Suddenly it stopped and the atmosphere returned to normal.

"So, what was it," asked Vegeta looking at Raditz.

"18,000," responded Raditz.

"Now you try," said Vegeta jokingly.

"Ok," responded Goku a little disheartened.

Goku began powering up but no intense effects are made on the air around them.

"You max out at around 420." Stated Raditz.

"You see now, the gap between the strong and the week is to great no amount of training will ever change that," Vegeta stated with a stern look.

"Now that I know what to aim for I'm sure I'll get there," replied Goku.

"Do whatever you want," spat Vegeta as he walked away.

"We will wait a day but what Vegeta said is true. Simply training isn't enough to beat someone with true power," stated Raditz.

"Maybe but I won't know for sure until I try." Said Goku determined.

"You really are a fool, uh Kaka. I suppose you got that from our mother," said Raditz "Do what you must, well stay for one day."

"The room is ready now," called Popo, as the black humanoid walked out of the building.

"Thank you, I'm on my way," replied Goku as she left to begin her training.

/Bulma's House/

A surge of power shoot through the air waking Bulma from her slumber. Shocked she looked around to see where it was coming from. It was immensely powerful but still far away. As she began to get up and get dressed she realized the machine she picked up before was missing.

"Someone sunk in and stole it. And without waking me. The only one I know who could pull that off is Goku. She wouldn't do that though. Besides this mysterious power level is more...," Bulma's thoughts where cut short as the power slowly faded. "It was near Kami's Lookout. Hopefully, the others will have felt it and should be on their way."

/Kami's Lookout 3:30/

"Krillin, Chi-Chi you came as well," Stated Bulma with relief as they finally met up near the sky over Kami's Lookout.

"You felt that power too?" asked Krillin.

"Of course, it was so powerful you could feel it on the other side of the planet," replied Bulma.

"I felt Goku powering up as well but it didn't seem as though they were fitting," stated Chi-Chi. "Regardless it was too powerful for any of us to fight."

"Ya you are right about that," agreed Krillin.

"Wait, look down there. Isn't that the person who claimed to be Goku's brother?" asked Bulma.

"Ya, but who is that next to him?" asked Krillin.

"I don't know but let's find out," said Chi-Chi.

The three landed in front of Raditz and Vegeta. Raditz was a little curious about why they were here but knew who they were. Vegeta looked at them and turned on his scouter. The where week. Even compared to Kaka. He huffed and continued to ignore them.

"What are you girls doing here?" asked Raditz slightly annoyed at their interruption.

"We sensed a huge power level and came to see what it was," replied Bulma. "What are you doing here and who is that."

There was no response from either of them. Raditz was thinking about how they would react to them accompanying Kaka and Vegeta just sat there impatiently.

"We asked you a question," said Chi-Chi annoyed, "What are you doing here, who are you and where is Goku?"

Chi-Chi was directing her frustration at Vegeta who continued to sit ignoring them.

"Hay I'm talking to you," said Chi-Chi angerly, grabbing Vegeta's shoulder and trying to turn his head but to no avail.

"Don't touch me woman," Said Vegeta un-interested. He casually moved his arm slapping Chi-Chi in the face and sending her flying.

Bulma, reacting on instanced moved to catch Chi-Chi but was pushed back onto the floor in the process. Bulma looked at Chi-Chi and stated in shock, "She's out cold...in just one hit."

"You bitch, who do you think you are," screamed Krillin in a rage taking a fighting stance.

There was still no reply from Vegeta.

"Stop ignoring us," Krillin yelled as he lunged for an attack.

His punch was interrupted though by Raditz.

"Leve him alone you idiot or do you intend to end up like your friend over there. We are here waiting for Kaka. She went into the Hyperbiblic Time Chamber thing."

"Hyperbolic," Corrected Krillin, "But why is she in there and why are you waiting for her."

With a sigh, Raditz sat down and explained the situation. In a few minutes, Chi-Chi woke up and joined the explanation. Finally calmed down, the team agreed to wait for Goku and talk to her about what to do next.
