The Clan Leader

Prologue

"Uhh... hm... it's kinda nice out today, maybe I'll go for a walk." I say with my finger on my chin
I quickly put my stuff in my little backpack, grab my phone and ear buds, then head out the door.
"I love this song!" I say to myself as the song started playing. I hummed to the melody as I walked down the paint splattered sidewalk.
"Woah, you ok? Watch where your going next time." A stranger said to me as I bumped into him, not paying attention to where I was going.
"Yeah sorry, I wasn't paying attention" I said looking up at the man who appeared to have soft looking dark brown hair and the prettiest golden eyes.
" no problem just be more careful next time kay?" He said winking and flashing me a smile.
"Yup, see ya" I said putting my earbuds back in my ears, continuing to walk away.
An hour later I returned to my apartment and found myself thinking about the stranger I had run into earlier.
"Why am I thinking about him" I whispered to myself.
"Well whatever I'll just get some rest it's late and I have school tomorrow" I said laying down on my bed.
I don't think I have formally introduced myself, im Iris Elwood. I'm currently a third year at Wando high in South Carolina, and I have school tomorrow so we'll talk later. See ya.
