This feel rests in the soles of my feet
Gun powder venom glow in my veins
Ice cold flames
My turning path splits the fog beneath the dark
Schemes and traps, tidal waves, set backs
You flow with love, then drought rides in
To my town
All alone, one soul
Two eyes, one heart
One mind, one spirit
When you leave
I can't breath the air
Highly poisonous
You know the feel, set deep in your heals
What does it matter if your chest is heavy
Who is around to care if they rain falls around you
What does it matter if there is pain in separation
Who is around to guard you from the wolves
What becomes of those too tired
To run and chase after
Those who will never feel the same
Your head tells you let go
Or she will disappear
Your head tells you one more time
And you will not have it in you
Her beauty unfolds, nowhere to go
Your head tells you she needs to be free
And wishes you were the one thing that let her be
