The Nerd and The Player

Chapter 4

The game started.

Diana from my team threw the ball as fast and as high as she could and Kyler, being a electric pole caught it. I used the electric pole reference as he is pretty tall but no, he is not thin he has abs. Well, if you compare him to me, he is obviouslytall as I am 5"6, and he is 6"3.

Little did I know that stupid, stupid Kyler threw the ball towards me and as soon as I saw the bullet in front of me, it was too late. The ball hit me straight at the nose and warm blood started flowing out of my nose. Gosh, it hurts.

"Ellie are you okay? Let's get you to the nurse,"Adriana said running towards me. Kyler was nowhere to be seen.

"Take Miss.clumsy to the nurse,"Sir said and Tori laughed,as I rolled my eyes.

"Does it hurt?" Adriana asked.

"No, it feels so good that I want to run around screaming hurrah!"I replied and rolled my eyes.

"I get it, it hurts,"Adriana said and then the nurse appeared with her kit.

Kyler

"What do you mean you just ran out of there?"Evan asked. He was definitely angry.

"I panicked alright,"I replied."After seeing blood coming out of Ellie's nose, I freaked out. I mean I did not know what to do."

"Dude, someone's in looove," Hayden said, and I rolled my eyes."Seriously? I am not that low," I said. She is nice and very sarcastic, and also kind and beautiful, but.....forget it.

"I did something stupid,"I blurted out. I honestly regret saying that I trusted her. I do think I can trust her but I shouldn't have said that. What can I do, I trust people too easily.

"What exactly did you do?"Hayden asked."I told Ellie that I-"I was saying but Hayden interrupted me. Evan was busy texting someone, probably his newest ice-cream flavor, oh sorry, I mean his girlfriend.

"You told her that you were in love with her. EVAN, he told Ellie he was in love with her,"Hayden said and Evans eyes widened."No, what the hell. Hayden you should let people complete their sentences, I told her that I trusted her,"I said.

"Why did you say that, I mean that day in the party you ran off and I am a hundred and fifty percent sure that she came to you so what did you tell her?"Hayden asked.

"I told her about Tori and my relationship," I replied.

"Sometimes I wonder, that how come you fell in love with her? Were you a doofus,"Evan said, "He still is a doofus,"Hayden stated.

"Listen, Tori and I were childhood friends and I had a crush on her ever since first grade. However in freshman year she told me she liked me. She wasn't like this always and she was kind and sweet and loyal but high school changed her. When we were together she started to change and became an attention seeker and then she became a player, end of story,"I said and both Hayden and Evan were listening.

"But you are still stupid,"Hayden said and Evan nodded, and I grew annoyed and just left.
