Buzzing sound, that’s all I hear. I opened my eyes and I look around and realized I was in my bedroom I groaned and looked around for the buzzing sound and realized it was my alarm clock. It was the last day of Junior Year and I couldn't be more happier. 

I got up and turned off my alarm clock and went into my closet grabbing my sky blue sundress and set on my bed and grabbed my sandals and set them beside and headed towards my bathroom and took a quick shower. After I washed my body and hair I got out and wrapped my body in my robe and dried my hair and headed back to my room and did my make-up a natural color and fixed my curls in place and walked over to my bed picking up my dress and slipping inside and zipped up the zipper and slipped on my white sandals as my phone buzzed I walked over to it and saw it was Violett calling me, I smiled and pressed the answer button 

“You don’t have to call me today- I’m already up” I told her as I heard her gasped in shock I laughed and shook my head, throughout the year Violett had to call me and bang on my bedroom door to get me up ready for school because I’ve been so lazy. 

“Wow! That’s the first!” she said I laughed and nodded my head grabbing my bag as I headed out of my bedroom and down the stairs “I’ll be there in 5” she said then hung up, I sniffed and smelled eyes and bacon. I walked into the Kitchen and saw my Aunt Becca cooking, I smiled and hugged her from behind I felt her jump a little in surprise and saw it was me and smiled 

“Ready to get this day over with?” she asked me as my eyes lit up and nodded my head as she laughed as Violett, James, Aaron and Lyric walked in I looked at them like they were crazy “Food is up and ready” Aunt Becca told us as she sat the food on the table and we dug in. 

As the day went on and the teachers were talking in a bored tone I almost fell asleep like three times in the past hour. I sighed and ran my hand over my face as I looked at Violett she smiled at me and rolled her eyes and pulled out her phone and showed me a picture of her older brother in his Army Uniform and his girlfriend and Violett in the middle of them, smiling up brightly into the camera. I smiled at the photo 

“I’m proud of him” she told me I nodded my head, I couldn’t agree with her more. Even though we may have different parent’s, different skin color we are still more like sister’s then Best Friend’s. 

“Tell Victor I’m proud of him” I told her she nodded her head as our teacher looked at the clock on the wall and smiled widely at us 

“Well, have a wonderful summer everybody- we’ll see y’all next year” she told us just in time as the bell rang for the end of the day, everyone threw papers into the air and ran out of the classroom, me and Vi laughed as we stood up and walked out meeting James, Aaron and Lyric by Violett's and James's car 

“Let the summer time began” Aaron yelled as we climbed into different cars. I laughed and nodded my head 

“This summer is going to be the best time of our lives” Lyric said I rose an eyebrow at her and shook my head not really believing it but whatever. 

“Yeah, sure whatever you say Lyric- Allen’s wedding is in two weeks!” I said as we cheered and we began to drive off 

“Can’t wait till Senior year tho” Lyric said I nodded in agreement 

“Now, that is going to be the best time of our lives” I told her as she laughed and nodded her head as we stopped by my house and I changed into a black v-neck and some tan shorts and we were off to the beach “Let summer time began” I yelled as I reached up and turned up the radio as “Best Day Of My Life” by: American Authors was blasting through the speakers and Lyric laughed and threw her arms up into the wind and started to dance to the music.

Let this crazy Summer Began
