They all giggled while Lily is trying her best to pretend she didn't hear anything. Lots of fangirls and fanboys are seated at the audience waiting for the show to start. A hundred lucky fans are given the tickets to watch the show live and Lily is one of them. She loves observing the other fans and eavesdropping on their loud conversations about the boys. "If you only know, girl!", her mind is reacting to the things she hears around.
"Ok armies, the show is about to start. When I do this," the man gestures, "you clap your hands and when I do this," he again gestures, "you stop. Fan chants are allowed as long as not during the interview."
The floor director is giving the audience some orientation on the do's and dont's during the live show. She's participating with them and even talks to the other armies too. The show started and Jimmy Kimmel began talking and introduced the guests.
"Kim Namjoon. Kim Seokjin. Min Yoongi. Jung Hoseok. Park Jimin. Kim Taehyung. Jeon Jungkook. BTS!"
Fan chant started as the music starts playing. All the armies in the room are so elated. Lily remembers the time before she even got to know all of them personally. Getting this kind of opportunity for k-armies is also hard especially if you belong to the later generations. Her fangirl heart is so happy. She even see them glance at her once in a while and her smile is up from ear to ear.
A loud and deafening applause and screams of support from the fans are heard after their performance. The staff of the show just can't believe how big the influence of this group is.
"That was an amazing performance from the most sought-after, most famous and most influential band right now, BTS!" Jimmy said.
The boys are too humble and showed shyness from what they heard. The interview started and there were some fun challenges too. All the fans are very happy to get to know them more.
"I'm sorry to ask but, may I know how old are you?" A fangirl seated beside Lily asked her.
She felt awkward but answered anyway, "I'm 28."
"Oh. And you're engaged?" She asked looking at the ring on Lily's finger. It's too beautiful and rare not to be noticed.
"Oh yes." She gave her a bright smile and touched the diamond on her ring.
"And your fiancé supports your fangirling over BTS! That's so sweet!"
"Yes! He loves these boys too." She said while thinking "How can he not love the group he's in?"
"You're so lucky. I wish I could find a man that will love BTS too as much as I love them." She uttered.
Lily just gave her a bright smile and continued watching. The show ended and they all started walking out of the studio with so much to talk about. While lining up at the coffee shop just outside the building, she heard some girls talking.
"Did you hear the rumors? I think an army saw J-Hope with a girl at Disneyland and they were holding hands."
"Was it J-Hope or Jin?" The other girl asked.
"I really can't remember but it was the talk of the town at an army site right now."
"Did they post the picture?"
"Apparently, the girl asked her to delete the photo."
"If that's true she's so lucky. Is she American?"
"Maybe. Maybe not. They said she looks so ordinary. Not even beautiful. I think she isn't a celebrity."
Drops of sweat started to form on her neck as she grabbed the wooden fan from her bag and fanned herself . "So ordinary, not beautiful?" She couldn't avoid looking at and judging those fangirls too in her mind.
"Bitch she's so lucky!" One girl mumbled sounding so envious.
"Yes I am! And you'll never get to touch my Hoseok cause he's mine. This ordinary, not beautiful gal beside you is his fiancée." She told herself and started giggling. The girls looked at her and she took her phone pretending to laugh at what's on it. Her phone rang and it's Hoseok. She sounded very happy and he wanted her to come back to the hotel as soon as she can so they can spend the day together since they'll be going back to Seoul tomorrow.
"Geule aegi. Saranghae. (Okay baby, I love you)" she said leaving the girls around looking at her speaking in Korean.

"I'll take another vacation on your next break and I'll go back to Seoul to be with you." She told Hoseok while helping him pack his clothes.
"Aegi, I'm gonna miss you so bad." He sat on the bed and held her hands.
"Nado (me too)." She held his face with her left hand. "We will make it through."
"Why can't we just get married now? Let's go to the Mayor's office and have a civil wedding."
She chuckled, "Bang PDnim will be mad at both of us if we do that. Also, it will be very disrespectful for our parents, especially to your parents, you know Korean culture."
"Alayo (I know)." He looked down and folded some more of his clothes.
They finished packing his clothes and began packing her things too. She's flying back to New York too today so they'll be at the same airport at the same time. They spent their remaining hours together to make it up to the days and months they'll be far from each other, until it's time for them to leave.
"Let's go?"
"Okay!"
