Best Friends ~ Chapter 1

A/N; The first few chapters may be a tad short, just cause I'm bad at explaining things ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'll make it up to you guys in the later chapters though, promise. This is just the very beginning anyways, just an explanation of your relationship with the two.

The three of you were the best of friends while growing up all in the same neighborhood. Where ever the two of them went, so did you. Katsuki Bakugou, Izuku Midoriya, and you were inseperable it seemed like. You were the shyest one out of the both of them, even tho Izuku was pretty quiet himself, he spoke more than you did. Katsuki was the "leader" of your group of 3, having such confidence in whatever he did. He also protected you, most of all, since you were always too shy to stand up to yourself whenever other kids thought it would be fun to bully you. Even at a young age, HE was your hero, and you looked up to him for that.

You were the first of the group of three to manifest your quirk. You noticed the air begin to swirl around you whenever you became upset or sad. So this was your quirk. You could manipulate the very air around you to your will. Katsuki was the second, being able to cause mini explosions with his hands. However, Izuku had yet to manifest his, as you all turned the age of five.

Katsuki started to change once he began using his quirk more. His confidence soared even higher, as did his ego. He started picking on Izuku, because as more time passed, he had yet to manifest his quirk. Everyone else picked on him too, yet you still were the kind hearted sole you always were to him. Your shyness never went away as the time passed either. Katsuki still was ever so protective of you, even when you had your quirk to protect yourself, he knew he had to be there for you.

As time passed, Katsuki's bullying of Izuku got worse, and the three of you seperated. You were torn between the two of them, however with Katsuki being protective, he never let you out of his sight. Though you stayed by his side, you would always give Izuku little smiles here and there, letting him know you were still his friend, and always would be.

"I-if you keep on hurting him..I-i'll stop you myself!" The five year old Izuki tried saying while he was trembling with fear from the site of Katsuki getting ready to attack.

"Kaachan n-no, stop!" You quietly yelled while running up to Katsuki to wrap your arms around him so he would stop bullying Izuku.

"Tch, why are you protecting this weakling, (y/n)?" Katsuki said while looking down at you. You were the same age, though he was still just a tad taller than you.

"B-because he's my friend! A-and he's still your's too Kaachan," You said while still holding onto him, tears starting to form in the corner of your eyes.

Kastuki must of seen you start to cry, because instead of going to attack Izuku, he said "Tch, fine, but he's still a weakling," he said with a slight blush and looking away from you. "C'mon lets go," he said as he grabbed your hand to drag you away.

You couldn't help but look back at Izuku, who was still defending the boy on the ground, who was originally being bullied by Katsuki. All you could do was give him an appologetic look, before being dragged away by Katsuki.

"Why can't you understand (y/n)..." he started to say before he shoved his hands in his pockets. "Weaklings like him will never be accepted in this hero society."

All you could do was walk next to him, keeping your head down while looking at the ground. You couldn't help but miss the good days when all three of you were friends, running around and playing at the playground. You wondered if it would ever go back to normal, or if it would stay like this and get worse as time passed.
