Alak means World, so he's always trying to go up there and explore lands as he conquers them. Well he has different sites that still all alone and he says that someday his going to take me there. I'm dying to see them as he describe them as enchanted and mysterious pulau (island). So today is the day Alak is taking me to the surface to show me the pulau and it wonders.

"The waters are darker on this side. Why is that?" I said with my trembling voice. Maybe I was scare or it was the quick change of temperature on this side that gives me chills.

"You know that we are on prohibiting waters that means that this was curse by the Raja of Diam and who trespass this place will suffer in the future." He said it like he was narrating a book.

"I know. But still is kind of scary. Are we there yet?" I ask.

"Don't desperate yourself we are almost there." He said as he swans ahead faster than me. Alak is one of the strongest of our people. One day he was taken away for one month and when he appear back later with scar on his face and no one knew what happen to him. He didn't tell me anything and I didn't ask him so he would not disappear again.

He has dark brown hair and clear blue eyes that never lied, he has a rip body and the big scar on his left cheek that makes him looks intimidating. And yes we have tails like you call them; there are what keep us swimming faster than other creatures. Our tails glows on the dark when we want it so because of this darkness I am turning on mine. Mine is turning on as bright yellow when suddenly Alak scream my name and something else.

That's when I look behind me a see a Giant Rakasa with sharp teeth and a big belly. It was awake now and it was swimming to our direction with those violet eyes looking straight at me. I began to swim faster trying to lose it but it was in vane as the Rakasa swim faster and faster almost catching me with his big mouth. I glazed down and I saw a small cave that could kept me alive until I figure it out what to do.

Swimming as faster as I could I enter the cave and the Rakasa smash his head over the entrance of cave making me bounce to the back. That's when Alak swim to the Rakasa's back and smack him with something I have never seen it before. He hit it real hard against the hard skin making a hole on it. The Rakasa jerked away making a great groan of pain giving time to Alak to smack it again. This time Alak stab the Rakasa in the head with the other spear-thing making a loud roar and then silence. I when out of the cave looking for Alak who was near to the creature still holding the things he use to kill the creature.

"Alak" I said nervously reaching his arm as he turns to face me looking amused from the fight. "Turn it off" he orders me and grabs my hand dragging me far from the death Rakasa. As we swim farther he still holding my hand as my father would do when I was just been younger. We finally stop behind the dark reef feeling exhausted we try to rest for a while. "Are you ok, Avani?" Alak ask me without looking to me as he was hiding something. Maybe he's angry because what I did but I didn't know better so it wasn't exactly my fault. But still he looks so serious for the way he usually is and I don't know if I should apologize or not.

"Yes. Alak I'm sorry for glowing." I finally said. He quickly faced me and looks at me saying "It's not your fault Avani I'm not mad at you is that I don't understand why that Rakasa was there."

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Well, they are not usually the size of that, they are small and not that aggressive." He said with a expression of thinking. He said. "I wonder if they were sent." "Who would do this?" he was puzzle.

"Alak, with what do you kill the Rakasa?" I ask.

"With a pedang" Alak said.

"Where do you find it?" I ask.

"There are plenty of artifacts hiding in this world that we can use." He said.

"But how do you know where they were?" I ask.

"Because I have been here before and I have been on this kind of situation before. But I don't understand how could they have change that quick." He said as he handles me the pedang that was the shape of a small spear with sharp spikes on the sides. There were something written on top of the pedang and it says: orang bebas (Free People). "Let's go then we have the exact time." He said and off we go without turning back.

Alak said that was strange but it doesn't matter because we were fine now. I still worried about it, because my father trust in me and now I'm disappointing him. What can I do anyway; this is the only way I can find about the other world.

We swim as faster as we can because Alak didn't want to take chances again. So maybe it was dark and lonely but everything change as the rocks became more grayish and the water was now greenish.

From the deepest part of the ocean we now are going into the light that glows on the water. Everything changes when we at last were almost on the surface. I stop when Alak stopped and look at me smiling "were here" he said giving me time to say something but I didn't. I was frozen for a moment as I didn't no what to expect, I really have no idea what I was expecting me.

I look back to darkness down below and go straight up crashing the thin line between my world and the other.

Is like been born again and discovering a new world that fill your eyes rapidly. Amazing from the long rocks around us till the land ahead of us with trees (I guess) and the waves crashing the edge of the land. "Wow, this... Is some... "That's all I can say because my head is now on this beautiful view.

I have never seen anything like it before, from the diversity of colors to what you call sky. Alak tap my shoulder and say do you want  to go closer? We were fifty feet away from the land I nodded and we began to swim closer to shore.

"Saya Dunia! This is absolute wonder." I finally could state something. Alak who was staring at me was smiling at my expression and my astonishment. Now we are ten feet closer from the land I could feel the sand on my tail (it feels warm).

"Ko Pulau is what they call this place, our ancestors they used to be here all day and night and even prepare the ceremonials." he said.

"The ceremonials they were very lucky to do that." I said. "Alak I have heard of this before but I haven't seen it with my own eyes is like a dream."

"Yes it is." he said as he gesture something like follow me. He sank to the deeps again while I follow him behind. Directing me to a little opening on a rock that he enter with some difficult as for me I enter rapidly and easy.

It was a cave that was surrounding with giant rocks like protection. Alak kept swimming straight for the top and I follow him. When we came up was all green and fog around us. With beautiful waterfalls and different kind of flowers makes everything wondrous.

While Alak was swimming to other corner I decided to climb a rock so I can take a good look of the tree here. It was slippery where I was hanging but it was worth it because I could see the tree more closely and I could almost reach it with my right hand.  It changes color when I touch it from blue to yellow and red. It was beautiful how it change colors it like it was saying ‘welcome’ to me.

I could see Alak rest for a while on a rock when I hear something beside me. It was a small sound as a crack will sound almost inappreciable that Alak didn’t hear it because he didn’t move from his position nor open his eyes. So I began looking through the shadows but I didn’t see anything.  My heart began to race because I didn’t know what was there because I couldn’t move nor see it.
